Internet Office News

Well, this week I appointed a brand new IOA, the Chancellor of the Imperial Senate, Orv Dessrx. He promises that he will have time and will be able to revive the efforts being put into Hawkeye 2. Welcome to the team, Orv!

Speaking about Hawkeye 2, unfortunately there has been a tremendous slump in activity among the IO staff (ahem, ahem!) so we most likely won't meet the November 1st deadline either. So as of now I will not announce anymore dates unless they are certain and I have the work done to back it up.

Other than that, a whole bunch of new web hosting accounts were set up on MinosNIC this week. A reminder, for all your EH-related web hosting or redirection needs, just sign up for free at MinosNIC!

Emperorshammer.net has all the files uploaded right now. The only reason it doesn't work yet is because Astatine has not yet been able to set up a DSN yet (basically a database reference). Once he does, everything should be back up.
