Wing IV News:
1) The big news this week was the promotion of CPT Philo to Major!! Once again,
congrtulations go out to him and he's still paying for the drinks! I seem to have
over-indulged myself this weekend in the drink so I'll be sitting out for now...but
just a warning, "beer before liqour, never been sicker" :P
2) Haven't heard anything about the CSL matches for this week. I do know that
Lamed's scores were in late so they won't be counted this week either. *Get his
whip out and starts beating on Ric :P* Harold shall also be paying you a "visit"
Rico :P I'll ger results out when I get them myself.
3) We have a few people on leave it would seem. CMDR/CPT Drax Xander (Zayin) is
on leave until the 24th of this month, so he's just about back from his leave.
CPT Paradox (Kaph) was also on leave this week, but he's back tomorrow and MAJ
David (Lamed) will be on leave for one to two weeks. Anyone else planning on leaving
anytime soon? :P
4) The Sovereign website has been updated as well as having a new address. The
site can be found at http://sov.minos.net
so go and take a look people.
5) I want to challenge someone! Nothing big, just the usual wing vs. wing type
of thing. Don't say Wing X, since they won't be "ready" until August
or something :P If you have a wing you want to challenge, tell me and I'll try
and get it going. We need alittle warmup before the big SOV-wide competiton :)
6) Lastly, the Wing IV website. CPT Hello is already starting work this week.
This report colour is one of the possible colour schemes. I have two others which
I hope to use for the next two wing reports. I want something different and trying
to stay away from black, so we'll see how it goes :) Oh, and this scheme was thought
up by MAJ Philo, so don't blame me :P
7) Our venerable ex-WC, GN Reaper has come back to active duty. He has joined Praetorian squadron, so may god have mercy on his soul :P
Fleet News:
1) Congrtulations go out to two of our very own Wing Commanders, COL Gen Es'mith
and COL Jahan Kalar on their promotions to General! I'll be trying to get Proton
and Pri drunk enough to get me bumped from LC to GN soon enough :P
2) There is an IO Code Archive up at http://www.ehnet.org/ca.
For anyone who does any web-programming, then I suggest you take a look. It is
quite useful actually.
3) A new IWATS course up. This one is on Java Script and can be found here.
4) TAC is on leave and he left his CA:TAC in charge. He's supossed to be doing
the bsf's, but doesn't seem to be doing that job very well :P
5) My EHNET is up! I have been using it for the past few days and I must say its
really...really....really good! Its a great start page for anyone interested in
both the EH as well as anything and everything going on in the world. It can be
found at http://my.ehnet.org/
and I suggest you sign up and cutomise it and use it. I hghly recommed it :)
