CMDR Drake Jensen reporting in for Mantis Squadron on 07.11.02
Commander's Corner:
-Well here we go again. As stated in my last report, Top Dog has begun. LC Ekim has extended it for one week So far we only have three pilots who are particapating. We need to fly XWA-TC 30 for the first round of Top Dog. You only have a few days left to get your pilot files in. Let's see if we can surprise the Van and take the whole thing!AY!DO MANI!!!
Squadron News:
-We will be starting an RPG next week. Everyone needs to get their profile in or myself, Brosky, and Dufar will make one up for you. Please email your profile to the squadron.
-LCM Serge Broskopf is my XO. Please cc him on all squadron related things except pilot files.
-LT Dufar Jabar is our TAC officer. He will be emailing you with battle request. This is to help us gain citations. And yes, even the commander will be recieving battle assignments as well.This is a request not an order, but it is for the good of the squadron.
-The leader in the most LoC's comp is LT Dufar Jabar! Excellent work man.
-I would like to implement some squadron officers to help make us more active. If you are intrested in being the communications officer for Mantis email me and we will talk about it.
-We are down to 4 citations. This is do to our squadron increasing in size.
-We have a new pilot, SL Krayt. I have talked to him a good deal on AIM and beleive that he will be an asset to Mantis. Buy him a round in the ready room and introduce yourself.
-Something new. From now on I will be naming a pilot of the week in every report. This will go to the pilot that shows the most activity and willingness to help the squadron. Our first P.O.W. is LT Dufar Jabar! Congrats man. In honer of this I will pick up your bar tab for the week.
Wing/Ship News:
- The WC has started a competition for squadron histories so any of you that are good with fiction(Brosky and Dufar) may want to give it a shot.
-The saturday night trivia and the sunday night aces high comps have been suspended due to non-particpation. If you would like to see these comps make a come back let CM Drax Remlinger(tombtrooper@aol.com), CM Erryc Lassiter(spencer79@nethere.com) know that you will be there. They are for medals and are a good way to get to know others on the Van.

ARRRRHHG! While I'm happy to have so many pilots, our citations have dropped down to FOUR! These four are XWA TC#'s 1, 2, 7, and 11. All you new guys and inactive guys, get out there and start flying, fast. If it isn't one of the battles above, fly it! If LT Klar gets AWOL'ed, then we'll get all our citations back, but until then, get cracking!
