Bi-Weekly Report

Welcome to a new version of the Weekly Report, Captin Karimicus Sukkarius speaking. Here is for your reading preivleadge the bi-weekly report for 10/07/2002.

• First and foremost I would like to congratulate Saber on reaching a high score for mission 3 in battle 21 somethings on the way /me thinks
• Both Saber and Marl Von-Stokenbak have been highly active this week keep up the good work

• Finaly a web url has been selected for the Wraith Site on Minos, this is not the final version as part of it has to be reconstructed. Any news items have still to be sent to me @ karimicus@hotmail.com. To visit the site while it's still in Construction Click here to visit the page.
• A competition is on the way so get ready for it. Also For the website I'm looking to add music to it, so all suggestions are welcome, most suitable will receive a small something or other :P.
• As part of the Wing Competition we have with our sister Wing Wing XIX, all pilots including my self are required to Fly XWA-TC Battle #15. More details can be found further in this report.

• A little slowdown on the set-up for the Virtual SSD Avenger Project as I am looking into the feasability of doing certain aspects of the project. In other words, more research. Stay tuned. Stalker has a new Commander. Please welcome Arion Sunrider.
• Squadron Management 3 is now out. I urge those of you who have already taken SM/2 to go over the course notes. It casts a lot of illumination on several key areas pilots have been bugging me about. Heh, it even knocked me on the head with something I'll have to start doing. That is submitting the commanders' squadron reports to the FO, so you really want to get those to me on time by Wednesday of each week. I seem to be distinctly missing a few at the moment. I want to see 6--count 'em--6 reports in my box come next Wednesday, a'ight? And please send them to me as attachments. Much obliged!
• ATTENTION ON DECK!
  
  For those that haven't been watching, yesterday marked the official beginning of the Avenger Task Force Points League. Effective right now, all cmdrs in the Task Force have begun tracking each Pilots activity on the ATF Web Site Database. It's an easy way for all of you to earn medals just for doing to things you're already doing!

  I'm going to summarize a few things here so things get off to a smooth start.
  
  All pilots can earn points for the following activities:
  Flying Missions
  Flying/Fighting in Multiplayer Competitions
  Writing IWATS Exams
  Writing Fiction
  Designing Web Pages
  Designing Graphics
  
  Flying missions, MP comps, and IWATS are static sections, based on how many you do.
  A note for MP competitions:
  When you compete in an event, if you play 2 matches, but only win one, your commander will only be notified that you had one win.. not that you played 2 matches. Since you will receive 1 point for each match, win or lose, it is up to you to email your commander to tell him how many matches you played. When you email your commander, tell him how many matches, what event, and what date. He can then verify your email against the EH.net database events listing, and post your points accurately. If you don't give the commander enough information, you may not get all your points, so be sure to include everything!
  
  Fiction, Web Design, and Graphics:
  
  These categories are awarded points based on judging. In order to receive points in these sections, you'll need to email the appropriate judge to have your work judged, then awarded. The judges list is on the page above, though right now, no Graphics judge has been specified. This will be remedied very shortly, so be patient.
  
  IMPORTANT NOTE:
  
  As rewarding the points to pilots requires some dependancy on emails from the EH database, there may arise a problem from email issues. For this reason, each Pilot is responsible for verifying their own records to ensure that their Points are being accurately recorded. If you feel there is a discrepency in your points total, email your immediate commander with full details on the problem, so that he may correct the issue.
