For
the second week in a row, the squadron was waiting for their commander in the briefing room, when he arrived late. "Well
pilots, I took a little longer getting here as I was confirming more details for our assassination mission. From what I can
see now, we'll be hitting a small, heavily defended envoy travelling from their home system to petition the New Republic
for admittance. The orders, as always, are to annihilate the envoy and destroy as much of their escorts as we can. The idea
behind this is to make the New Republic look defenseless against our strikes." Vallyn saw Stavros had a question.
"Sir, I can design the simulation for our mission."
"Excellent, get right on it. I'll give you more details as I get them. Now, on to the weekly report..."
