This weeks missions are

and

Ok I've been asked about these results now but I've left them for this weeks report to give me something to add in the news section. Well Let's here the big round of applause for the Tempest squadron results.

First off I'd like to congratulate everyone on a good turn out. Not a single pilto failed to fly, and that was from both squads, it was a tightly contested competition

well now to the final standings

there was only a few hundred points in it and unfortunately we didn't get enough, well flown everyone and we can leave this 1 with our heads high :)

After this very good performance I'll be looking into another Squad V's Squad competition for the near future, is there anyone that you would personally like to challenge?

Wing News

With the departure of the former wing CMDR GN Ford there was a space that needed filling, is there any man enough to try and sort out this wing, is there a man prepare to step up and undo the pink and yellow spots plastered around the whole of the barracks. Who will be there for us when we start getting in trouble? Well the Please Step Forward COL Stele. Congrats to Stele who has beaten off all other competition to take the honoured spot of WC WII :)

Time for a party :)
Someone get rid of the fighters from the hanger I don't care what you do with them just don't scratch the paintwork... Oooh and don't forget you've got to be able to get them back :p

Someone set a table up, and volunteers time for a hunting party to endor, we are going to need a few ewoks for this.

Roll out the secret stashes of WII liquor we are going to make this a bash to remember, someone stoke the coals and get the BBQ going.

Ok when the dust clears there is also a CMDR spot open in Sin squadron now, if anyone would like the job applications to be sent to our New WC and CC to proton, make sure you include names of possible referee's (Don't forget to ask them first) and also handy is a brief description of what you feel you can bring to the squad.

I must add there has been a spate of HCI convictions recently within the wing please whatever you do, do not edit pilot files share them with others or skip any missions no matter what the reason, if you have to do any of these things inform me of the reason for you actions, however this is a very very worst case scenario and remember that pilot file sharing and mission skipping is strictly forbidden no matter what!

I have been talking to COL stele about a little intra wing competition just an Idea I've been cooking up for a while watch out for further notice.

Imperial Storm Battle ASF vs. ATF
00:46 - VA Pel [Palinathas@aol.com]

All available ATF and ASF pilots (including Tau and Avenger Squadrons respectivly) should show up to #Project_Faithful on Undernet at that time. Only 9 turns left in the game, and the Sov team still has a lead, the winner of this battle should end up in position to challenge the Sov.

IWATS Squadron Management 3
10:32 - FA Priyum Patel [spellfire@btinternet.com]
The third version of the IWATS Squadron Management Course is now officially out. As I said in my previous reports, this is more of an update rather than a complete rework. This means that there isn't anything significantly new, but there is more information on things like the Fleet Standing Orders, Database procedures and the new CMDR Tour of Duty rule.

The test is not compulsory for present Squadron Commanders but they are highly encouraged to read through the notes. Pilots that were CMDRs in the past and are applying for a CMDR position at some point in the future, do not have to take SM/3, assuming SM/1 or 2 has already been passed.

Please note that the pass mark for the SM/3 test is 80% and copies of transcripts are not kept, unless you mail me beforehand.

Adjustments to the message boards
00:44 - SA Astatine [jpboyce@indigo.net.au]
In order to reduce the amount of traffic generated by the message boards, I've adjusted the maximum numbers of threads displayed in the list and tree views. Previously the list and tree views had a default limit of 50 and 100. These have now been reduced to 25 and 50 respectively. The benefit of this, of course, is the message lists loading faster for you, as well as freeing up the bandwidth of the site to handle other requests.

PROF positions open
23:27 - SA Astatine [jpboyce@indigo.net.au]
The positions of ICQ and Graphics professor are open.
