Wing XIV Report - 04/20/02 General Information WoW! The next XvT Week
of War sponsored by BattleStats.com started on April 19th! All
MP pilots are requested to attend throughout the week and win LoC’s!! Great
turn-out so far from Wing XIV, keep joining and we’ll be taking out those
Rebel scum in no time!! :P Points to remember
during the ASF-SC IV. The highest points are the ones that require the
biggest effort. Flying MP has the biggest reward in points overall, while
recruiting a new pilot and receiving an MoI can garner a large amount of
points all at once. IWATS Courses also are good point makers since you can
rack up lots of points by taking the courses. Remember, whether or not you
need the course isn’t the point, it’s the activity and rewarded points that
make the difference! Promotions, Medals, Battle Citations, FCHG and CR
advancement. All of these amount to a lot of points when you add them up
together. Another area is mission/battle design and creation. Points are
eagerly given here, and the Intrepid could use some great battles made for
her. So any of you that have considered making a mission or battle, now is
the time when your efforts will pay off even more! The ISD-II Intrepid has
seen a level of activity not previously exhibited since I joined her last
year, and each of you should congratulate yourselves for your hard work and
dedication! Your WC and COM are very proud!! Lots of
promotions, medals, IWATS, and High Scores this week! Great job Wing XIV!! The BGCOM
has discussed possibly setting some new MP standards for the pilots in the
ASF. At this time nothing is yet set in stone, so those of you who have
been beating down my door can calm down until the Flag Officers receive
more information. Personally I believe this is a great idea, and would
encourage even more MP participation and awarding of medals for Wing XIV!
:P Wing XIV, I
am very proud of the overall activity from this past week! Many pilots that
were previously lacking in activity have stepped up and began to show some
genuine activity, and the turn-out from Wing XIV at the MP Competitions has
been excellent! As you’ll see in the Medals section, a LOT of LoC’s were
handed out this week, with your own WC and COM even taking a victory a
piece this week!! Hehe I want to
congratulate every pilot that has shown such great activity in Wing XIV
recently! The COM and I are very proud to be leading such a great group of
pilots, and we look forward to seeing this activity continue to increase!! I have word
of a new pilot that will be joining Wing XIV very soon! I must stress that
continued recruiting is the key to increasing our numbers and activity!
Also, MAJ Yellek and I are pushing to see the ASF reach 200 pilots! So lets
keep going and fill up those Squadrons!! Long ago
when I was just a lowly SL, I wondered where my path in the TIE Corps would
take me. Over time there were some hurdles to be overcome, but I never lost
my focus on having as much fun and accomplishing as much as I could while
serving this glorious club! I ask that each pilot in Wing XIV take a long
hard look at what you’d like to accomplish and then set a goal for
yourselves. The only way you’ll succeed is by keeping to that goal, staying
active, and demonstrating that you have what it takes to make the next necessary
jump in your career. There are a number of pilots I have my eye on for
future advancement, and I look forward to seeing how well they work to
motivate and work with their fellow pilots as the progress in their
careers. J Quote of the Week <AppleSauc>
