	Wing XIV Report - 04/13/02
	General Information VA Brakka dug up one of his old WC Reports for me to tryout since the format I used last week wouldn’t properly upload to the database. My thanks to the COM for assisting me in finding a new report format! J Special thanks to CPT Drako for the outstanding new Wing XIV banner he designed! The new banner is now on display on the TIE Corps Roster! Great job Drako!! Speaking of CPT Drako, he has informed me that a new server has been found to host the newly created Wing XIV site. A couple of minor coding issues have arisen, most notably the automated news system for the CMDR’s and higher to use. However, he assures me that he should have everything recoded and uploaded for my review by the end of this next week. CPT Drako and the Wing XIV Webpage Council have put a lot of hard work into creating a new site that allows easy navigation, but at the same time ensures that all of the most up-to-date and available information can be reached! I look forward to seeing the new site put into operation! Well, the server hosting the TC sites went dead sometime early Friday morning. As a result there will obviously be a delay in processing combat awards, BSF’s, and so forth until this problem is rectified. So all pilots are encouraged to continue flying both SP and MP, as well as performing their other required duties. In the meantime the FCHG and CR scores near the bottom of this report may be slightly off since I can’t access the database to pull up the current stats. :P An extremely busy week for the CMDR’s and WC as multiple BSF’s and other entries were submitted for the ASF-SC IV! Great activity all around, and MP flying is really starting to pickup a lot! Keep up this pace and we’ll be setting all kinds of new activity records in Wing XIV!! WoW! The next XvT Week of War sponsored by BattleStats.com will be held on April 19^th! I want to request that as many MP pilots in Wing XIV signup and participate as possible. The Avenger Squadron has long been reigning in the ASF Comps because they clean up on MP victories in the WoW events! From what MAJ Sarin has told me there are a lot of easy kills to be had against other rival clubs, so lets get out there and boost those CR’s!! Remember, the WoW is a week long, so plenty of time to jump in and have fun. If your not yet registered with BSC, go to http://www.battlestats.com and register now!! Activity is very important, and the more active you are the better your chances for medals and promotions! After the completion of the ASF-SC IV, Wing XIV will undoubtedly be seeing a lot of promotions and medals being awarded! So keep busy and stay after that goal, the ISD Intrepid as the Flag Ship of the Aggressor Strike Force!! As WC I still some areas of opportunity, but overall things are proceeding exactly how I anticipated when I took command of Wing XIV. I want to thank the CMDR’s and pilots of this glorious Wing who have given me their best. Together we will make the TIE Corps take notice of us, and together we will reap the rewards that comes with that recognition! Wing count reached 50 pilots this past week! Unfortunately some pressure from MAJ Idaho for his pilots to be more active resulted in one pilot immediately requesting a transfer to the Reserves. Therefore we are now short of that 50 mark, so every CMDR and FL is urged to begin recruiting actively for Wing XIV! Lately I’ve noticed that the use of ID Lines and Rank/Name in emails and other areas has been a bit lax. In the future Wing XIV Personnel will ensure that any inter-ship communications have at least your Rank and Name at the end. Any communications outside the ISD Intrepid to other TC or EH Personnel must include your full ID Line! Diamondback became a full Squadron this week! With the arrival of a new pilot they have achieved what I hope will be but the first of many full Squadrons in the Wing XIV! 27 medals were handed out this week in Wing XIV! That’s an outstanding number, and I look forward to seeing even more awards handed out to Wing XIV members in the future!! :) Welcome our newest pilots; LCM Derek Dan who joined Diamondback 2-1, and SL Phantom who joined Cobra 1-3! Wing News CM Delak, formerly of Odin Squadron, is appointed CMDR of Copperhead Squadron! LCM John Clark was promoted to CM and appointed as CMDR of Asp Squadron! A little thing to remember when creating a custom mission: there is a maximum number of crafts the game can support at one time ! This limit is 28/32 for TIE Fighter (TIE Disk/TIECD-95), 32 for Xwing vs TIE Fighter, 96 per region in X-Wing Alliance... High Scores CPT Frodo had a Mission High Score in TIE-TC #68!
