every now and then gets though and there is no ETA to resolve the issue. So,

Feedback from last report
Well either due to e-mail
issues or something else, I did not get any feedback. I would ask that member’s
of Odin Squadron please respond to this request. In order to keep the Tie Corps
an attractive Place for IMP’s and Star Wars fans, We really need your feedback
to better ourselves. Please get back with me on this.
Odin Squadron CMDR Medical Leave - Update
My surgery date is June 17th.
Many of you have asked why I am having surgery. While the matter is very
personal, you guys are like family. Below are 2 links with information about the
surgery that will be preformed. So of you may choose to comment on it. Trust me
when I say that what ever it is you want to say, I have heard it. Unless you are
going to wish me luck, I don’t want to hear it.

This time it is feedback. I want everyone’s feed back as I
talked about in the News section of the report. 2nd Focus is the
ASF:SV Comp. Lets Do Something! Throw me a Bone!
Fiction from the desk of CM Brat Stone
RA Azazel walked down the corridor on C deck looking and
checking every corner he passed; searching for the source of a noise he could
not identify. The closer he got, he began to know what it was. It was the sound
of hard stressed workout.
“Only one person on the ship would be doing that.” He said
to himself. “Stone. It’s got to be Brat Stone.”
As he turned the last corner, he could see Stone’s shadow
thru the open door of his quarters. He walked into the doorway and there was
Stone. Using a hull support in the middle of the room for doing chin-ups. The
scaring thing was Stone had two scrap hyperdrive reactor coils from a gunboat
tied to each foot. This must have added over 200 kilos to Stone’s body weight.
As Azazel glared at the coils Brat stopped with one hand on the beam used the
other to pull the straps holding the coils to his legs dropping them to the
floor. Brat drops the floor and snaps to attention and salutes.
“At-Ease Commander. I hope those are not from MAJ Razor’s
favor GunBoat. Well, looks like you got some time on your hands? I hope you can
give me some of that time Brat.” Azazel said.
“Of course, Sir. What can I do for you?” Brat replied.
“Intel has alerted the EH about a treat to the SSSD
Sovereign. The Alliance has created a new prototype of a powerful warhead. It
seems to be an improvement of the heavy rockets. Intel has labeled these new
weapons “Super Rockets”. There are two main differences. The first is they are
much faster. Intel reports the speed to be as fast as our advance missiles. This
makes them very hard to intercept. Two, they pack 20 times the explosive power
of a heavy rocket. One Y-wing carrying a total load of 8 Super Rockets could
take out the SSSD Sovereign.”
“Normally, a Star Destroyer’s own pilot base would be
selected for a mission that posed a direct threat to their ship. So I have to
ask, why are you telling me this?” Brat Stone said while wiping the sweat from
his face.
“Your record shows you are a weapons expert and you have
training in covert ops. Command felt it was best to send you. VA Proton of the
Sovereign questioned it, but VA Khadgar and myself told him that you could do
the job. I also want to set something straight with you. The Sovereign is not
the only target here. If the Alliance can mass-produce this warhead, none of our
ships or fighters would have a chance. We could be wiped out from a distance.”
Azazel said in a low voice.
“I understand. What are my orders, Sir?”
“Report to the briefing room in 45 minutes. Prepare
yourself for covert ground ops.”
“Aye Sir!” Brat Stone replied. “ I’ll be ready in 30.”
29 minutes and 58 seconds later, CM Brat Stone walked into
the briefing room. It was full of security officers and next to the main view
screen were VA Proton, VA Khadgar, RA Azazel and LC Janson.
“Good, you are here!” Shouted Khadgar.
Brat Stone saluted the offices and turned to Khadgar,
“Sir, I didn’t know you were going to be here.”
“Well, this is a important mission. Plus I brought you a
gift. Take a look at the hanger.” Khadgar walks over the hanger windows and
points into what looks like an empty hanger.
Brat looks at VA Khadgar with a funny look on his face and
says, “Uh, Is it in a different hanger?”
RA Azazel begins to walk over, places his hand on Brat’s
shoulder and slaps wristband on his right arm. It then clings to him and becomes
skintight. He looks the band and look out the window and star fighter craft
begins to become visible in the hanger. The craft kind of looks like a Tie
fighter class ship, or a Tie Defender, it was new whatever it was.
“This is one of the remaining prototype Phantom Tie
Fighters. The test bed for these fighters was destroyed by a Rebels Assault
about six years ago. This wristband I put on you links your bio signs to the
crafts center computer. Only you can operate it now. If for any reason you are
killed in the mission, the fighter will self-destruct. If you craft becomes
disabled, it will self-destruct.” Khadgar said.
Brat looks at the craft. “I’ve heard of these. Some even
say that RA Azazel has one.” He thought to himself. He then looked over at RA
Azazel. “I get to use this in my mission?”
“Yes. Your mission is to hyper into Dinefe system, start
the Phantom’s cloaking device and proceed to the L class moon of the 5th
planet. You will need to pass thru an asteroid belt. With the cloak on, she
should be able to bypass the patrols in the area. Your landing site is 4 klicks
outside the Super Rockets R&D lab. The main storage bay is attached to the main
building. You need to set explosives in the storage area. If Intel is correct on
this, if you bay goes, everything on that half of the moon goes. You will need
to get back in you craft and fly about 21 klicks from the moon before you
trigger the bomb on the surface. Then head to the rendezvous point. Once at the
rendezvous point, disengage the cloak. Two Tie Advance will then escort you back
here.” Azazel said.
“Seems easy enough. What happens if the cloak fails?” Brat
said.
“That’s up to you. The craft sports 3 laser cannons, dual
missile launchers, twin ion pulse engines and a class 4 hyperdrive. Plus this
baby got add on that not standard for her type. SLAMS! This engine boost system
works just like the one on the Missile Boat. Speed is rated at 168 kpm. At
normal speed. So you’ll need to make the choice.” Replied Khadgar.
“OK, I need all scans and other related data on the R&D
lab, plus known patrol routes for Alliance Capital ships and Star fighters. How
much time do I have?”
VA Proton steps up Brat then hands him a Padd, “Here is
the data. We are not sure of the amount of time you have, but I can tell you the
Alliance has already test fired the weapons. So, you are not going to have much
time.”
Brat takes the Padd and looks it over. “Says here they
still can’t mass produce the warhead. They have to make them one bye one.” As
Brat reads over the data and orders, he sees something that does not make him
happy. “You want me to bring one back? How am I going to carry a 300 Kilo rocket
back to my fighter?!”
“I just saw you doing chin ups with an extra 400 kilos
tied to your feet, Commander. One 300 Kilo rocket should be a walk in the park.”
Azazel quickly replied.
Brat just smiled, placed his helmet on, saluted the
officers and entered the hanger.
Later in the Dinefe system, Brat shut down his hyper drive
and turned on the cloaking device.
“Well let me do some slicing while I am in the area.” Brat
went to work on the radio control systems. “There, that should do it, ouch…….
(zapping noise)….. Well it better”
Alliance Secure Channel open..
“This is green 3, I’m telling you I saw some kind of Tie
jump out of hyper space!”
“Ok well that the 3rd time today and there is once again,
nothing on scanners. LT, I think you need to go back to base.” Said a female
voice.
“CMDR, I know I sa…………….”
“LT that’s an ORDER! Back to home base now!
“But, Sir!”
“Now LT, Or I’ll transfer you to waste duty!”
“Yes, Sir.”
Brat grinned. He liked the idea that he got a LT in
trouble and that his CMDR is going to wish he had listened to him later. Brat
flew in close to the A-Wing, riding in behind the wake of the small craft would
make it easy to enter the base.
Brat slipped in the base and dropped down into the Main
storage area. Planted the bombs and then grabbed one rocket and headed back for
his craft. As he did so, he thought, “ Man, that was easy.” But before he could
leave the area, one of the bomb he left to destroy the base went off early.
“What the heck!? He looked down at his data padd and he saw it was which one it
was. It started a fire near the super rockets storage unit. “I am not waiting
around here!” Brat said aloud to himself and began to leave the system.
There were more problems. The cloaking system took some
damage in the blast on the surface. He was losing power and speed. “If I don’t
disengage the cloak, I won’t have the power to make the jump into hyper space.”
Brat disengaged the cloak and as soon as he did, The channel he had sliced got
active.
“There, There!!! I told you!!” Shouted Green 3.
“IMP Tie craft, this is CMDR Terra Stone of Green
Squadron. You are ordered to shut down your systems and give up your craft to
the New Alliance.” Said same female voice.
Brat mind when blank! This can’t be!! Terra Stone, could
it really be her? Brat’s younger sister! Brat open the COM channel and spoke to
the female voice.
“CMDR Terra Stone? Terra Stone of Vjun?” Brat Asked.
“Who is this?! How do you know that?!” She replied.
“I thought you were killed. I had no idea you were alive.”
Brat Said to her.
“I see that IMP Intel is not what it was once was.” She
replied with a small laugh.
“This is CMDR Brat Stone of the EH. I will not power down
my systems. Lil’ Sis, you better not attack me. I do not want to kill you now
that I know you are alive. Back off!”
“Bubba? It can’t be you!!! Please any one but you!”
“Terra, you know what I was going to join before the Jedi
killed our family. I thought you were dead too.” Just then, Brat’s system showed
him to be at the hyper jump start point. Then his ship left the system.
Returning to normal space there was CPT Kodiak and LCM
Kelh waiting for him. They made the 2nd jump with no sign of the a-wings tailing
him. Why did she not follow him? Brat didn’t know, however he really wanted to
find out.
But that is another story!
