Koph Squadron
Report #48
7.31.2001 - LC Firebird
Pilots of Koph Squadron:
First off I'd like to apologize for my absence this week. Over the
weekend I was whisked away to Olympia, Washington to see my
grandparents without any prior notice. Since then it's just been one
thing after another, and today is pretty much the first time I've had
to do any EH related stuff. Hopefully next week things will calm down
a bit and I can focus on the things that are really vitally important,
like the Psi Squadron Invitational Tournament!
We have a few submissions for the PSIT, and the scores are pretty
good... but the problem is there are only a very few of them. I got
through the first two missions when I flew it and ran into some
problems. Now this was 3:00 in the morning for me, but if the rest of
you are also having trouble finishing the battle, post to the list and
let someone who has finished it already (Iceman?) help walk you
through it. If we're going to beat Yod Squadron, we'll need every
submission we can get.
I talked to GN Devin from Omega Squadron, and he has agreed to
postpone our competition with them until after August 8th, when the
PSIT and the FCHG race will have ended. That gives us one less thing
to worry about :)
The FCHG race continues. As you can see from the activity reports
there have been a few submissions, but it really looks to me like you
guys aren't really trying... let's see some action here, folks :)
We have one spot left in the squadron, and there are two potential
Kophers coming in in the near future. We'll have a full, completely
active squadron very, very soon kids! Thanks to all of you who have
been getting the word out about our fantastic squadron. It has really
paid off!
Finally... for the first week in a very long time, we do not have a
new person in the squadron! I can award the Koph Ace of the Week to
anyone I want! Bwahaha!
This week, the Koph Ace of the Week goes out to Captain Nikolai
Boshevki for bugging me about the squadron report and his BSFs on IRC
until I went ahead and sent them through :)
Your new Squadron ID line is:
CPT Nikolai Boshevki - ESC/WCOx2/KAx2
