The research base was attacked on 31/11/00 causing heavy loss of manpower and resources. One lone pilot, Who went by the name of Draconius Krynar saved a majority of the base's personnel. He recognized Janus' potential and purchased him for 500,000 Strunthian Credits (About 10 IC's)
