Quote: It's better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

Significant Events of Childhood and Adolescence: Placed 3rd in the Interplanetary Martial Arts Championship on Coruscant in the 14-18 year old division when I was 16. Went on to receive my second dan black belt and position of sensei at the age of 18. Took flying lessions from a family friend and discovered an almost supernatural talent for it. Purchased a simulator and began flying simulated combat missions, beating all of the included missions within a week. Began learning about computers from a young age and at the age of 14 I was able to slice my way into the Corellian global credit exchange. After taking some leasons from a slicer I discovered that in addition to my skills in the more physical pursuits of combat I also possessed a keen mind. I realized that it was my destiny to become a warrior when I came upon six or seven thugs trying to rob an older woman and her young daughter. They all had blasters and vibroblades and I had nothing by my fists and my feet. One of them lived, barely.

Significant Events of Adulthood: Purchased a YT-2000 freighter and started a freight business at age 20. By age 22 had 3 YT-2000's and 4 employees. At age 23 placed 1st in the Interplanetary Martial Arts Championships in the under 40 division. Parents killed when a madman set off a thermal detonator in a crowded marketplace. Sold business for a sizable amount of money and joined CorSec to prevent a similar tragedy from happening to anyone else. By age 25 I realized that the New Republic was a weak government and represented the greatest threat to order in the galaxy. So I joined the Emperor's Hammer to continue my work at CorSec on a larger scale. After a few months in Gimel Squadron I was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and given Command of Flight 2. I applied for Command of Gimel when my Commander stepped down. I did not receive command but after a few months I applied for Command of Pe Squadron. I received command of that squadron and served as its Commander for about 2 months. I then was forced to step down to the position of flight leader because of a personal tragedy. Because of this tragedy I also had to go on extended leave for 1 month. After I returned I became Commander of Aleth Squadron, my current assignment. I was promoted to the rank of Captain for excellent service after two months as CMDR of Aleth. I was forced to take a short leave of absense from my CMDR position, but I returned to once again command Aleth Squadron and was soon after promoted to the rank of Major.

Alignment and Attitude: I have high moral standards and am very helpful. I hold doors for people, seat women first, and am very protective of my friends. On the other hand, I have no patience for pompus fools and have little use for time wasting activities. I understand that being a good leader is more about paying attention to your subordinates, even at the cost of ignoring your superiors, it's not your job to manage up, but to manage down.

Former Occupations: Sensei, Trader, CorSec officer.

Hobbies: Slicing, armed and unarmed combat, flying.

Tragedies: Parents killed by thermal detonator when I was 23.

Phobias and Allergies: None.

Personal View of the Empire and EH: I think that the Emperor was needlessly brutal in his reign, but I think that the idea of a strong central government and not a bunch of squabling groups is best for the galaxy. The EH is a good group not because of the Admirals that run it (although I have no complaints there), but because of the individual members. A group is only as good as its weakest link.

Reason for enlisting in the EH: I found myself to be very proficient at flying and any form of combat at a young age and I want to fight for justice in the best way that I can. I've also found that I have a talent for command, and I want to play that talent to the upmost.   Appearance: I am shorter than average (like most pilots) at 5'9". I have wide shoulders and an open, honest face. My arms and legs are fairly muscular because of long hourse spent in martial arts training. Blond haired and blue eyed, I'm often told I look life a farmer.   Real Life Info: I am very much like Major Jahan Kalar in real life, I have the same personality and physical appearance. I really am a martial artist and have taught and won several tournaments (much like Jahan). My hobbies include flying, computer "fixing" and tinkering with things. I am a high school graduate and I am going to attend college next year to study computer engineering with a focus on computer security. I also plan on either enlisting in the United States Navy after college (as an officer) and trying out for flight training or joining the American FBI.   Gaming Machine:
Processor: AMD Athlon "Thunderbird" 800 mhz.
Video Card: Asus GeForce 2 MX w/32 megs RAM.
Memory: 256 megs PC133 RAM.
Hard Drive: 30 gig Maxtor 7200 RPM.
Internet Connection: 368kbps ADSL from Visi.com.
Favorite Musician: Mandy Moore. Although she is only 17, she is a great singer and a very pretty girl to boot. Check her out at MandyMoore.com   Favorite Fighter: Although most pilots might disagree with me, my favorite fighter is the TIE Interceptor. It may not have shields or massive speed of the TIE Defender, but it has two things going for it. The most obvious one is its small size. It's a lot harder to hit than almost any other craft, expect maybe the A-Wing, and that's not all that great of a fighter in any case. The second, and less obvious, is its simplicity. To quote Robert A. Heinlein, "If you give a soldier a lot of gadgets to watch, someone a lot more simply armed, with, say, a stone axe, is going to walk up behind him and bash his head in." I think that speaks for itself. Call me old fashioned, but I just like the TIE Interceptor.
