Significant Events of Childhood and Adolescence: Badlan was born to Jes and Merro Badlan just before the outbreak of the Clone Wars on Corellia Prime. Badlan's childhood was quite unsignificent, he left school at sixteen and with his girlfriend Kelso Foreman joined the Republican Defence Forces. However Badlan was found to be Force Aware and prone to depression and suicide, he was sent to the Corellian Jedi Temple where he achieved the rank of Light Jedi Acolyte and quelled his inner beast. He then rejoined Kelso at the academy. Together they completed training at the academy a year early when the Clone Wars broke out and they were brought out into service.
Badlan and Kelso's squadron, the Bravo 49th fought in the battle of Denab but Badlan was seperated from his unit and believed them killed. In the stress of war he turned to the Darkside and on Denab killed fourteen people until a group of Jedi and civilians alike stopped him and he was Light again.
Badlan finished the Clone Wars after discovering Kelso alive and Badlan achived the rank of Vice Admiral and Commodore of the Republic Dreadnaught Yakoant.
Significant Events of Adulthood: Badlan served a further five years as Commodore of the Yakoant eradicating the remaining Clone vestages. Unfortunatly for him Emperor Palpatine preformed a coup d'etat and took control of he galaxy forming an Empire. Badlan was immdeiatly attacked by several Dark Jedi Acolytes and forced away from the Yakoant which they destroyed. He and Kelso went on the run with Badlan's parents, Merro and Jes and Badlan's sister Oita. They travelled the galaxy, staying one step ahead of the Dark Jedi, however Imperial Intelligence has discovered that Badlan turned to the Dark Side again. It is believed he tried to destroy his family but was turned back by them where he then killed the Dark Jedi Klaui and Blair.
The attacks died down and Kelso married Badlan. The Badlan family then moved back into civilised society. Jes, Merro, Hadar and Kelso went to work for CorSec, Kelso and Badlan as Detective Inspectors and Jes and Merro as techs and R&D scientists. Later Grand Admiral Thrawn hired Jes and Merro to work on his Cloaking field project at Kuat. Later that year Rebel Y-Wing Bombers attacked an Imperial barracks and killed his sister, Badlan fell into depression but was saved by Kelso.
Badlan watched the next few years go through peacfully until the Empire fell at Endor. He and Kelso, after aquiring a Shuttle from Admiral Kawolski in return for some technology for his Imperial Star Destroyer the pair fled from Rebel Incursions and eventually wound up at Kuat trying to defend his parents. He failed and the Asteroid R&D facility went up in flames, but not before several escaping Shuttles were seen giving a faint glimmer of hope.
Badlan and Kelso returned to Courscant to fight the Rebellion but failed and were seperated. Badlan made his way to Aurora where it was rumoured that GA Ronin was setting up an Imperial Sect, he re-joined the Empire there and fought the Rebellion. Kelso also head for Aurora and they agreed to a divorce.
Badlan graduated the Daedalus with Kelso and another names Zero Lestat whom he agreed to go with to the Relentless. Badlan joined Crossbow Squadron where he was under the Command of Lieutenant Colonel Doyon. Doyon himself was a Dark Jedi Knight and currenty the Relentless was fighting a Light Jedi Knight and his army. Doyon, three weeks into Badlan's joining discovered he was light and attempted to kill him, Badlan however managed to convince Doyon that he wasn't intrested in the Jedi wars and the Light Jedi attacked the ship and boarded, there Doyon and Badlan united to fight him together and won.
Next Badlan, Doyon and Zero went to participate in the Minos Cluster war where they were sent to discover information on a quiet area of the Minos Cluster. In the end this 'quiet' area was the territory of newly commissioned Rebel Wing Commander Kaferra who was secretly building his forces. Crossbow Squadron, were attacked during long range recon and Badlan and Zero were grounded.
Together they hid from the Rebel Regiments in the jungle until Admiral Zoraan brought in the Relentless to rid the planet of Rebels. Kaferra then attacked the Relentless and Zero was killed during the starfighter battle. Badlan took a leap of faith and convinced Doyon to go to Pylea where he knew they could find Kaferra's base of operations. They did, Galorn. The Relentless joined the Immortal and Challenge and liberated Galorn destroying a half of Kaferra's wing and forcing him out. The Galorn Argyle joined the Relentless but Akagi, Jay Urick and Doyon left the ship. Badlan's new CMDR, Ricaud lead the new Sword Squadron against Kaferra and he was banished. The Relentless followed him to Ord Mantell where Kaferra started to re-build his wing. There Imperial Resistance Leader Nav'Ric Trow captured him and took him to the Relentless, Badlan shot an A-Wing off of Trow's ATR tail and saved him. The two became friends aboard the Relentless as Trow became a pilot. Quake, Ted and Dan Malaktos joined the Relentless crew. After Kaferra was sent to a POW camp.
Ricaud became Relentless Commodore amd Ted took over Sword Squadron.
The Swords then began a rudementary mission of taking down Bacta Convoys along the Minos Boarder. However Badlan met Joran Delsar a suspected Intelligence Officer, who opened his eyes to the other war activities. Together they were attacked by Thyferran and Alliance Officers. However Thyferran Dictator Nal Pershe was allied with Brutal Coffey of the Moff Jerrajord Imperial Sect. The Relentless was captured by Alliance Forces but the Swords rescued her next the Swords actually went to Thyferra and overthrew the Imperial government with a little unwanted help from a virus ridden Alliance Fleet.
Badlan returned to service when the Relentless was again attacked by a Jedi, this time it was a Dark Chaos Jedi and this time it was from within, it gathered Acolytes all around it and they attacked the Relentless. Half of the crew were killed but Badlan prevailed. He then moved to the Challenge as a result and now works under Colonel Mairin of Tornado Squadron as a Flight Leader.
Alignment and Attitude: Badlan is a keen force user, and probably the only known Light Jedi in the Empire. Since the attack from the Chaos Jedi Badlan has increased his Force Skills considerably. Badlan himself has a sort of split personnality, he is sometimes happy and sometimes depressed considering his circumstances.
Former Occupations: Badlan has served mainly in Military Occupations. Including Jedi Knight and Scolar. Then Old Republic Starfighter Pilot, Commander.
Also within the Old Republic as DREAD Commodore.
Later as Pilot and then Wing Commander in CorSec defence division.
Then in the Empire as a pilot on the ISD Rage.
Later in another Imperial Sect as an Imperial Pilot, then Flight Leader. After a period of leave he dropped back to Flight Member.
Then in Sword he became XO under CPT Ted.
Later returned as FM into Sword and after that a FL under Colonel Mairin in Tornado.
Hobbies: Shows a great intrest in the Force and is keen to improve his skills.
Also enjoys making hand crafted Starfighter models. He also has a strong enjoyment in all things flying and space combat.
The pilot also enjoys writing.
Tragedies: Death of Sister is probably the main tradgerdy of Hadar Badlan. However dismisal from the Old Republic, watching his ship explode, his divorce and the loss of parents are equally traumatic to this tourtured 'soul'
Phobias and Allergies: Allergic to Chlorine.
Hates aracnids of all kinds including all insects in fact.
Personal View of the Empire and EH: When asked Hadar Badlan made this statement;
"My view of the Empire. Well I'm no fan of Palpatine for sure the man was an evil bigot. However you can't escape the war and I chose. I chose the best people out there, the pilots and officers of the EH appear to me to be fairly decent people, not racist and apparently the leadership of Ronin has made this so. But choosing the Alliance would be wrong as they maybe killed my parents and killed my sister."

Reason for enlisting in the EH: This question was put to Badlan and this was the reply;
"Reason? Well I don't have anywhere else to go. I mean, the Rebels wouldn't take me. Having parents in the Empire an being CorSec would make me on their 'enemy' list surely? Anyway I agree with EH policy. Well I gotta go, I'm just about to leave for the Relentless. I hear its good is it?
