FLEET MEDICAL CORPS REPORT, JUNE/3

"Field experience is something you don't get until just after you need it." - Murphy's Laws of Combat

GENERAL

Welcome to another interesting FMC-report. :)

This week saw a lot of recruitments. It was not only the Special Operations that gained a couple of new members but also the TC and IW division of the Corps. To make it short, we're at blasting 58 members now and I expect to break this mark next week. :)
Aside from that, it seems that the SpecOps is finally gathring and begins with normal work. A first result is already, that the FMC will play an own part in the next Imperial Wargame (read: Imperial Storm III). Imperial Storm II has just been released and I am looking forward to it - could become an exciting event again.
Also FMCCon Two has started. Captain Desmos has released a whole bunch of mini-competitions forming the overall FMCCon on us. The awards are real, people, because it has been cleared with TAC. So, go for it! :)
Also I'm satisifed that I got a lot of reports this week - keep this on, dudes.
On a sidenote, I've released four Standing Orders to your PMOs and the XMO/CHF. They should have been forwarded down - if not I'll get each single head. I want them back, so forward them to me!

CHF NEWS

Life from the desk of the Chief of Special Operations

After the first week of hectic, thinks have cooled down a little bit.
The Think tank continues work on the Motto and Promotion and Relations
started working on the new version of the FMC manual.

Roster changes:

I would like to welcome the following officers to Special Operations:

Think Tank:

MBR Ghoulag

Promotion and Relations:

MBR Sauron Tarrke

Welcome.

Special announcements:

The outer hull peeled off our M-FRG and guess what appeared: A brand new
Modified Task Force Cruiser!
Please change your mothership in your ID-line to M-TFC Unity

Academy

Because of the small size of the FMC academy, the members of the
FMC-command staff and Special Operations Command (CMO, XMO, CHF and
VCHF) have agreed, that we don't need a HM and a DEAN.
DEAN Starfire has been placed in command of the Academy.

[no report received]

Promotion and Relations

Without acceptable applications for LEAD-PR, VCHF Striker will
temporarily be assigned to that position.
He will lead the update and enhancement of the FMC manual.

<SALUTE>
Ok, we're really flying now. Four members- around 40% strength, with another to possibly join soon. I will be mailing
the FMC yahoogroup again soon.
Our first assignment is going fine, with a total of five suggestions to date. We shall be taking a vote on Friday, and at
the meeting on Saturday I shall annouce what the think tank has come up with. With regards to voting, we shall do it
annoymously:
Please email me with your preference for the motto by Friday evening (GMT)
Kindly do not email it over either of the egroups, mail it to astix@gmx.co.uk
I have *finally* decided on a structure within the Think Tank. There will be two members set aside in a TNK position,
to freely think alone. They will not submit to our assigned tasks, but will think on how problems not neccessarily so
obvious as others may be solved. As yet, I have not decided who will take these positions as they will need to be
highly responsible members, willing to spend time searching for problems.
Second "in command" of the Think Tank will be the ADV- advocate. This position will mean that a) in my absense the
ADV takes over, and b) the ADV looks from all sides of an any discussion, and try to highlight oversights- litterally,
Devil's Advocate.
With approval from CHF Wemmel, I would like to appoint an ADV shortly. I would also like people's opinions on this
layout, sent over the fmc-tt yahoogroup please.
I will *not* be taking applications should approval of these plans be carried out.

That's all for this week,

Command Staff

Special Operations TIE Corps Infiltrator Wing Imperial Senate The Guild TIE CORPS

Salute all my medical personnel,

so what we have here is a lot of info so we begin this week with the
first real report of Mr. Astarosta the new SMS of the SSSD Sovereign.
Sovereign Fleet Medical Corps Report - June 13th, 2001

                                 SMS "Roasty" Astarosta
Hello gentlemen, it is Roasty again this time with his very first own
report. It's been a pretty good week for the Sov in terms of overall
morale, and the Sov Top Gun comp seems to be running allong pretty nice.
Major events this week include
the appointment of the new Wing VI Commander, MAJ Jesseb Skyrauch.
I have two big announcements, concerning the Sovereign FMC.
-First of all, let's all give a warm welcome to the new Wing II Med
Staff, DOC/SL Carl Lost (cedu98@hotmail.com) and N/SL
Reb Crush (g3blackmac@mac.com)
Dudes, let's give them the welcome ritual. Yeah, but this time leave the
pointy sticks aside, we don't want them to do their first practise on
themselves.
-Second and most important: As from now, there's a new unnoficial policy
regarding the reports. In an attempt to invigorate the activity of the
Nursing staff, and smoothing the relationship with their docs and wings,
I'm declaring that each 3rd week of the month will be the "Nurse week"
On this week, all the Sov nurses will do the weekly report just as their
docs would. PAY ATTENTION, as the next week is the 3rd of June, so
Nurses, start watching the wing in order to make the report.
Ok now, down to the Wing Reports. The report from Wing I is missing, so
Tempus, please try to make it next week.
                                       Wing Reports
Wing II - Doc Carl Lost
Honored SMS Astarosta,
reporting in for the week from June   4th  to 11th.
Appointment to Wing Doctor on June 10th.
I have introduced myself to the Wing ( as far as it was necessary ) and
promised instrumentless work with nails& teeth.
Wing II morale seems high.   New pilots have been introduced
I expect no imminent problems during the following week.
respectfully,
DOC/SL Carl Lost/Wing II(SSSD Sovereign/TC-FMC/EH

Wing III - Doc Osan'gar
Greetings, here is my FMC Wing III report.
The numbers in Wing III have increased by four this week to 33 leaving
each squadron with an average of eight. This means we are no longer the
smallest Wing
on the Sovereign and hopefully we will get even bigger over the next few
weeks.
The increase in numbers can be partly be put down to the Mentoring
Program which is run by my Wing Nurse CM Cray Mikalen. The mentoring
program should continue to attract new cadets to the Wing and increase
our numbers further.
Wing Status = 33 (+4 from last week)
Thanks
Osan'gar Hey Squadron Commander and Wing III Doctor

Wing IV - Doc Halcyon
A very active week on the egroups concerning various topics.  (Pretty
much just everyone insulting eachother).  morale is at a good point
with everyone talking and joining in and being active with mailing.
Also,
it seems the wing has been plagued by broken joysticks.  I believe it is
a
conspriacy against Wing IV by the other wings beacuse they're jealous of
our
flying skills...but it could be just some shotty workmanship :P
Wing IV:  Still waiting for the new WC to be announced, and as such,
activity is not that high.  Also, the results for round 3 of the Wing IV
SL
have been announced, and the mission for round 4 should be announced
soon.
That is all for this week.
DOC/LT Halcyon/FMC-TC/Wing IV/SSSD Sovereign

Wing V - Doc Sickman
Wing Status
Pilot total is currently at 50, (up 3 from last week)

Mem - 11
Nun - 6
Samekh - 9
Aylin - 8
Pe - 4
Sadhe - 11
Morale seems good!
(With no communication from the Nun CMDR i have little to report this
week, i shall remidy this for next week......hopefully)
A massive increase in activity this week, especially flight activity.
DOC`s Note`s
A good week for Wing V, with a increase in members and lots of medals
and promotions. Morale is also alot better with the `no flying flu` now
dissapating and pilo`st getting hungry for battles!
I am still holding off the Wing V FMC comp. for awhile as the wing is
already clogged up with comps, intiating it now would probably result in
a low turnout.
Until Next Week!
DOC/LT Sickman/FMC-TC/Wing V/SSSD Sovereign [DOC]

Wing VI - Doc Viper
Okay, my wing has some depressing news.  Our beloved WC, LC "Darth" Joe, recently retired.  We believe that LC Firebird, teh current Koph Squadron Commander will be promoted to replace him.  Joe will be moved into Koph
Squadron as a sort of active member, and LC Iceman will take over as Koph Squadron Commander.  This is really all the news at this time.

Doc Argon Viper

Overall Sovereign Roster Status: 240 members
Ok, this ends my report, gentlemen. See ya aroud all, and remember to
give a free cookie to the SMS when you see him :p
SMS/CM Astarosta/FMC-TC/SSSD Sovereign [DOC]

the next one will be Mr. Kale the SMS of the ASFAV
Greetings, Sorry about last week. I lost my HD and there was no way to
recover fast enough to get the report out. This has probably been the
most disappointing report I have had since my enterance into the FMC. I
have recieved zero reoprts from my crew. I am going to do an AWOL check
tonight and probably
make a few of the members disappear come next week. Its just one of the
things that must be done every once in a while.
Well, the Avenger has recently gotten a new ship in its task force.
The ISD Subjugator. This ship will soon start to fill with pilots, and
with them there will be a DOC and a Nurse.

On another note, I recently learned of a person giving bad inforamtion. A FMC person in my command. I will take care of this personally. I hate to look bad to the uppres so this is an insult to me. I hate to be insulted. Destruction
follows. J/K Everyone in the FMC and part of The TC Aggressor Strike Force/SSD Avenger should be part of this email when AD Mike puts it out. So..if you have any questions let me know. I will answer you ASAP.
The  M-CRV Tripidium seems to be on a level of there own. I think we are simply a joke to them and I would like to reccomend that we dis reguard them from the FMC. Tau is to "Buisy" to do there job here in the FMC. Humph!
End...

and at the end our third SMS the fastest with the reports Mr. Manitsas

Greetings from the Battlegroups Medical Center, SMS/CPT Manitsas
reporting.

DOC Steve Sunrider joins the Battlegroups Medical Corps as the DOC of
the
Relentless. This brings the Battlegroups back up to a full slate of
Doctors.
Steve Sunrider will be taking his DOC exam soon.  DOC Riccardo
Grazioli of
the Immortal was given some advice on how to seek out opportunities to
help
troubled pilots.
ISD Challenge DOC Daisuke Airyu
No report for the past two weeks. Â What's the story Airyu?

ISD Colossus DOC Kodiak Kereban
Nothing much happening recently, with my joke comp suffering a slight
hitch.
Been providing some minor assistance to peeps amazingly not in my wing
...
says something there, but other than that no troubles

ISD Immortal DOC Riccardo Grazioli
Been a reasonably OK week. There was a bit of a problem with one of our
CMDRs being forced to resign and moving to another ship. I don't seem to
have
enough respect yet for people to come to me with their problems but I am

working on that. The weekly comedy has got a new permanent feature
called
"Brain-dead Monkeys R Us" in which I put all the stupid things I see,
hear or
read. The Comedy e-mail is still a hit and I am going to keep it going
:)

ISD Relentless DOC Steve Sunrider
Well, to make this straight to the point, there is nothing really to
report.
The ship all seems to be really happy, we are all a bunch of jokesters
and
with Dan Malaktosâ?™s return their morale is very high.
I have asked multiple times if they have any problems and have been told

that everythingâ?™s good. Iâ?™m sure most of them may have minor
problems, but if I had to help them all with their small problems Iâ?™d
be helping them till
my own death, and they all give each other support so I donâ?™t think
their
going to die on us.
I have talked many times with LT Doyon the Nurse and he has been of much

help.

Not a whole lot of news.  I sent out a message to the mid-level leaders in the Senate, the Chairmen, and have as of yet received no response whatsoever.  So...  they'll be bothered as many times as necessary before they at least
acknowledge.

Other than that, Doc Imperialistichasser tells me he's been having e-mail trouble, and SMS Crais is patiently waiting for the Supervisor's Course to go back online.
