GENERAL
Welcome to another interesting FMC-report. :)

We begin with the most anticipated news everybody is expecting: The announcement of the new Chief of Special Operations (CHF) and his assistant, the Vice Chief of Special Operations (VCHF).
After careful consideration, Lieutenant Colonel Death and me are proud to congratulate the new Chief of Special Operations, Captain Jan Wemmel (Jan1506@gmx.de) and the new Vice Chief of Special Operations, Captain Wil Striker (WilStriker@excite.com)! You new ID-lines are:

Remember that these two have more rights and responsibilities than normal subgroup-leaders. Hence, the CHF's authority will lie between the Executive Medical Officer and the Principal Medical Officer. The VCHF will have as much authority as the Principal Medical Officer. In addition, the Chief of Special Operations is third in command of the whole FMC.

Then we have some other interesting news: It has come to my attention that there are three special EH-modified Frigates equipped for medical usage and more or less belonging to the Fleet Medical Corps. I don't want to see them rust so I want YOUR ideas what to do with them! This is a kind of competition - send Death, Jan and me a mail with the subject "What to do with the three M/FRGs" and tell us how we could incorporate them into the Corps. Winner will get a promo (max. to CPT) or a Bronze Star of the Empire (CPT+).

Also sadly Admiral Talren Moreco has resigned his position as the IWCOM. Why in the FMC-report? We have the best relations to the IW and he is one of my closest friends. The new IWCOM is not unknown, though. It is Rear Admiral Figaro who has now taken command of the Infiltrator Wing. Congratulations to your appointment!

This goes again out to all PMOs and PNOs: Subscribe all new members to the medcorps egroups! You all have moderator privileges and should have no problem with that - it is crucial that everybody is able to recieve messages from the egroup!

Had me a talk with the Chancellor, and he'd like us to focus on a few things that we'll be getting on in the coming weeks.  Mainly that people don't understand the idea of a Chain of Command, which figures, since the Senate Manual
isn't even up right now and most Senators are newbies in the EH.

DOC Imperialistichasser is waiting for Doc/Nurse Course results, and I'm probably just going to tell him to wait for the new version of the test.  SMS Crais would love to take the Supervisor's Course...  when it's up again.

Basically, all goes well, and apparently we even have a new recruit I get to contact.  Life is good.
