Special Operations Director
Report #2
5.4.2001 - VA Draye C. Maaric
SALUTE!
Greetings. It's been quite a while since my last report, due to my senior prom and various other Real Life activities, but I'll try to make this as concise as possible. Here's a look at some of the current projects I'm working on:
1. Shiplist Project: Originally theorized between myself and ex-SCO/FA Kermee, this project's purpose is to identify and catalogue the name of pretty much every ship in use by the Empire at any given time. This was planned to augment the Fleet Manual (maintained by Kermee), but this may have changed due to his resignation. However, for the immediate future this project will proceed as planned. Basically, it requires someone (at the moment, me) to re-read every Star Wars novel and book they have and record the names and types of ships mentioned. I'd like some help with this, so if you'd like to do that with 1 or 2 books, that'd help out a lot. Just drop me a line at sod@emperorshammer.org.
2. PalmPilot Project: At some time way back when, there was a poll on the polling center asking if anyone would be interested in an Emperor's Hammer (or just Star Wars) based program for their Palm Pilot or similar "datapad." Seeing as how I've heard nothing about such a project actually being implemented, and there was some good feedback to that poll, I've decided to pursue this idea as far as I can. Having something to beam over to other PDAs could be slightly useful in exchanging recruiting stuff as well. This will all be looked into, so again, if you'd like to be involved, please contact me at sod@emperorshammer.org.
That's all for now. If you want to know anything concerning the activities of SpecOps in more detail, please don't hesitate to email me. I'll be in touch.
