"Body count Math -- > 3 guerillas plus 1 probable plus two pigs equals 37 enemies killed in action." - Murphy's Laws of Combat

GENERAL
I can't say anything but that I most pleased with overall FMC-activity. The TIECorps has regained it's position as strongest FMC-subgroup, the IW still close behind. We had such a mass of promotions the last week that it's simply not possible to mention them all.

Lieutenant Commander Plif is doing excellent work and improvements on his assigned position as the enw Professor for the DOC-course. Just this week we had three promotions to Lieutenant (LT) by passing the FMC-Academy.

But other people are inventive, too. Captain Striker has come up with the impressive competition of the Sovereign's "TOP GUN" - a flying competition to find out the ebst pilot on the Sovereign. It's now approved by the TAC and sponsered by the FMC. Good job!

One of our newest members, Doctor Grazioli, has already set up an interesting way of problems solving, incorporating a "round table" on IRC. The great mail/activity competition in the IW is over, earning the participants lots of recognition and medals. In this context, the two LCMs Axxemann and Malik have been promoted to CM - congrats!

But there are far more news on other frontlines: Although I didn't recieve anymore applications for the position of Chief of Special Operations (CHF), we might have one soon. Perhaps i am even able to announce him/her at the next meeting.

Speaking of the meeting which will be as usually on IRC at #EH_MedLab on tomorrow, saturday the 19th, at 2030 Z-Time. This is 2130 (9:30pm) GMT, 2230 (10:30pm) CET and 1530 EST (3:30pm). I know it's unusually, but this time I will be able to make it there. :) And you should not miss it, too, because I'm going to play around with the positions/rank structure a bit more. :)

Captain Starfire has done excellent job and updated the FMC-Academy to feature ASP. Good job! It can be found here: http://division-stormwind.org/fmc/

And even more news to come! I have upated and slightly revamped the MedCorps' homepage (http://www.medcorps.de). I have removed the annoying pop-up and established the news on the splash-page. In addition it features a link where you can send me news to post there. Ain't that cool? Also some cosmetic updates on the Roster-page.

Speaking of which, the FMC has again reached new heights: We are at 46 (that's fourty-six) members!

And last but not least, I got awarded an Imperial Cross (IC) and a Medal of Instruction (MoI) for recruting Michael "Admiral Ozzel" Sheard. Cool, huh? :)

XMO NEWS

Real short this time...nothing to report, just working on the SpecialOps

Egroups unsubscribing: If you are not part of the Fleet Medical Corps, and incorrectly receiving email from this group, please unsubscribe yourself by sending a blank message to medcorps-unsubscribe@egroups.com. Also all commanding officers are encouraged to ask their inferiors to subscribe to this egroup if they didn't do already. Subscribe by sending a blank mail to medcorps-susbcribe@egroups.com.
2. FMC-manual: If you have questions about the FMC or if you just want to have more information, try downloading the FMC-manual at http://www.medcorps.de/manual.zip.
3. FMC-Academy: The successful completion of your assigned course (DOC/N the DOC-course, for example) will result in an immediatly promotion to Lieutenant (LT). This is in this case important because otherwise there is no other way to advance to this rank. Thus, if you don't take your course, you won't be promoted. The Academy is located here: http://division-stormwind.org/fmc/.
4. Meetings: The FMC-meetings are usually held at 2130 GMT on #EH_MedLab, Undernet. You'll have to use an IRC-client such as mIRC to connect to it. You can download mIRC here: http://www.mirc.com. 2130 GMT (wich is 9:30 pm) is 1830 EST (wich is 6:30 pm) and 2230 CET (wich is 10:30 pm).

Salute

Well, here I am again doing the PMO report for the TC. Rather than drone on
as usual though i'll make my intro snappy and just get down the the point:

SOVEREIGN

Sovereign FMC Report #4: SMS Wil Striker reporting:
Just a reminder to all FMC Staff on the Sovereign that are at the rank of=
SL that they DOC/Nurse Course is back online and Professor Plif is crank=
ing out grades like a madman, so get yours in soon!
Congratulations to DOC Sickman and Nurse RedTaz from Wing V for completin=
g their courses! Both are now promoted to the rank of LT! Only four more =
SL=E2=80=99s to get promoted, so let=E2=80=99s get those courses submitte=
d folks.
Reporting is going great! However, we also need to find out if there are =
any pilots in each wing that have any particular problems. The best way t=
o handle this is to send out a blanket wide email over an egroup, if poss=
ible, to let the pilots know that we are here to help them, and that any =
discussions with us are kept confidential.  Remember, there is more to ou=
r positions than just sending in a weekly report about general activity, =
we are also responsible for getting in touch with the pilots in our respe=
ctive areas and finding out how they are doing.
Wing II was awarded the TCCOM award for April! Although Wing V feels like=
the mention of their loss to Wing II in the comp last month is a sore sp=
ot, LC Proton and his pilots want to convey their congratulations to all =
of the Wing II officers for doing such a fine job!
PMO Morgan has advised that he will be on leave starting May 16th through=
the end of the month. Anything that comes up and needs attention can be =
sent to myself and PNO Goatham to handle.
Lastly, I want to thank every DOC on the Sov for doing such a great job i=
n getting all of your reports in on time this week! As you can see my rep=
ort was able to go out to PMO Morgan and PNO Goatham a full two days earl=
y!!

Wing II: DOC/LCM Astarosta reports:
Medical report - Wing II - May 15th, 2001
----------------------------------------------------------
A week to highlight in our historical records ;) As you may know, Wing II=
has been awarded with the much appreciated TieCorps Commander Own for th=
is month. As the previous reports reflected, we were at a big peak of act=
ivity and overall fun, and fortunately it has been noticed by superior of=
ficers. The challenge now is to live up to it, and knowing my Wing, I kno=
w we will or die of alcohol saturation in the attempt. Morale after this =
is of course at its maximum, reaching amazing levels of madness and mail =
activity. =20
Sigma is currently waiting for the SL2K results on their match vs Tornado=
, and we are all thrilled to see the outcome.
CM Jan Wemmel from Kappa and CM Carl Lost from Theta got a GS and a BS re=
spectively for their amazing job at the Jedi Con in Germany, very well ea=
rned awards indeed.
COL Inkwolf is back after her two week leave and that puts an end to my a=
bsolute monarchy as Acting WC. It's been very fun and somehow I must have=
done something right, as I got a BS for my 2 week shot at Wing II boss ;=
)
Wing II rules, yes yes. And so does the Sovereign and their officers, com=
manding and rank.
Activity report
--------------------
No significative activity to report
Wing status =3D 42
Wing III: DOC/LT Osan=E2=80=99gar reports:
Aleth: Internal competition is underway with Round 3 starting soon. One p=
ilot transferred to the reserves due to a lack of time.

Beth: New competition announced with Phantom of the ISD Immortal. Website=
changed with CM Cray Mikalen taking over as webmaster.

Daleth: One pilot flew two battles, and another was promoted to the rank =
of LCM.

Hey: One pilot promoted to LT after filling out his INPR. Website being r=
edesigned and the mailing list was completely updated. I was promoted to =
MAJ as well.
New Flight III homepage created.

The Wing membership has decreased by one this last week, but morale and c=
ommunication by the new Wing mailing list, message boards and on IRC rema=
ins good. The Wing III Survivor competition enters it final round with CP=
T Cal Sinis, LCM Josh Popelka and MAJ Osan'gar all fighting it out for th=
e final prize of
either an IS-SR or IS-SW.

The Wing III website competition is due to end today and there was only o=
ne entry at the weekend, but many more will come in tonight as everyone t=
ries to meet
the deadline. The winner will be announced soon and will receive an IS-SR=
for their efforts. The runner up will get an IS-BR.

The attendance at the Wing III meeting on Sunday was good with nearly 1/3=
of the Wing being present. This is a good sign as it shows that we are i=
ncreasing
communication within the wing. The trivia after the meeting was won by LC=
M Josh Popelka which puts him in the lead in the Wing III trivia rankings=
.

With the average squadron size in the Wing being about 8 members, we need=
to increase this if we are to open up a fifth squadron. I hope that this=
can be achieved
soon so that we increase in size as a Wing.

After the Wing III website comp is over, I will be putting all my efforts=
into making the Wing III pilot archive with all of the submissions from =
around the Wing. I have spoke to CM Cray and I would like to get the Wing=
III Uniform Archive up and running as part of the pilot archive.

Wing IV: DOC/LT Halcyon reports:
I've been offering my help to all, especially to some of Wing IV's newest=
members.
Any competition ideas are on hold until all squadrons are bale to partici=
pate in them fully.  Now onto news from the Wing.

Zayin Squadron: CMDR Hello hasn't had access to the modem, so he has used
his brother's modem to get a report out.  He is currently taking inventor=
y of where the squadron stands, since he has been out of contact with the=
m for a little while.  Nothing else from them.

Cheth Squadron: They have a new member in SL Demetrios Caine, and are als=
o
busy in coming up with ideas for a new competition.

Teth Squadron: Teth is currently waiting for the results from the SL2K, s=
ince they are in the running to win it all.  A former member of Yod, CPT =
Bret K'Thraz has joined Teth to help them in their quest to win the SL2K.

Yod Squadron: CMDR Guthwulf went on leave, leaving CM Red Fox in charge T=
he liquor cabinet is now bare :P).  MAJ Halcyon (me) has left Yod to join
Praetorian in the SL2K but will return to Yod after the competition is do=
ne.

Kaph Squadron: A new member has joined Kaph, LT Gold Finger.  Nothing els=
e
of importance to note.

Lamed Squadron: Still no CMDR, and hence, no news.

Wing IV: Currently in the second round of the Wing IV SL.  Had a good wee=
k
in terms of members, with their numbers increasing.  Morale is high, with=
everyone having a few good jokes over the egroups, and all are routing f=
or Teth in the SL2K.
Wing status =3D 40

Member count 6 and still have the impressive 13 citations. =20

Activity is ok, but communication is lower than usual. =20

lonel.
Activity is still low, but communication is still very much alive. =20

ers.

DOC`s Note`s
Wing V`s flying activity still seems a problem, although there are the us=
ual Top Gun`s pushing out their weekly battles. I will be sending a Free-=
Tie mission proposal soon, there is still some discussion with the Wing V=
nurse on the subject, but hopefully if it is allowed to go-ahead it shou=
ld bring Wing V into action.
The BIG promotions was a great boost for Wing V at the end of this past w=
eek, it was good to see hard work awarded!
Wing Status =3D 51
Wing VI: DOC/SL Alison Krupit reports:
Wing VI is getting ready for another cadet comp, where 12 of us take on 1=
2 cadets.  CMDR Mage, the commander of Shin Squadron is starting a 3 day =

BATTLEGROUPS
TIE Corps -  Battlegroups
Senior Medical Supervisor Report
SMS/CM Manitsas (RA Manitsas) reporting
May 16, 2001

Greetings from the Battlegroups Medical Center, SMS/CM Manitsas reporting.

The new BGCOM, VA Adrenaline, has been appointed and moved her belongings to
the flagship ISD Relentless.  Already morale throughout the Battlegroups is
better.  Her sterling reputation from the Immortal has set expectations high.

The Lord Ambassador, Dan Malaktos will soon set up each of the four ISDs of
the Battlegroups with one of four outside TIE, XWA, or XvT organizations in
"Operation: Aquitaine."

Recruitment for the empty positions listed in the roster below is bearing
fruit.  DOC / SL Riccardo Grazioli has been appointed as the doctor of the
ISD Immortal.  Only the Colossus DOC position, as well as nursing positions
for every ship except the Challenge are open still.

Nurse SL Locke of the Challenge, and Doctor SL Riccardo Grazioli have both
taken the DOC Exam, but the headmaster has asked them both to retake the exam
and provide more detail and explaination.  I have contacted both of them to
help them better complete the exam.

ISD Challenge DOC Daisuke Airyu

Somewhat of a quiet week.  Tempest is getting very rallied up (all five of
'em) from their undefeated streak, and I suppose Tornado is still pretty
pumped from their trip to the SSL finals.  I posted episode 1 of Bob Versus
Fred Wars to the humor page.  Be frightened.

No medical staff

ISD Immortal DOC Riccardo Grazioli

As most of you already know I am the new ships doctor. I want to let you in
on my plans on how make people happy instead of making them miserable like I
always have done :)

The minor things first...

1) I will be sending out an e-mail of just comedy and funny stuff for you to
read just for the fun of it. I will try to do this once a week but don't be
surprised if it is delayed every now and then because I am under some
seriously hectic pressure from school (gotta do 2 years syllabus in 1 year!!).

2) I am looking for someone who is gifted in the art of web page design and
maintanence (how the hell do you spell that) to help me with the Immortals
medical web page. I have taken a look at Toran's old page and I like it very
much so I think that we will just dust off the cob webs and stomp all the
spiders that have grown over that page and start using it again. Please
e-mail me if you are interested.

3) I am going to keep Spearhawk on a constant but steady dose of
tranquilizers.

4) All Ranger squadron are to report to my medlab for immediate euthanasia.

OK...here is the big one. I am going to be introducing a new problem/conflict
solving meathod for when there are conflicts/problems between pilots. I am
not just sucking this out of my thumb, it is a proven meathod and it WILL be
used should a problem arise. It is called the round table meathod. I am not
going to go into the details of how it works in RL but I have spent some time
converting it into a version that can be used on IRC. Here is how it works...

I will open up a channel called #roundtable on IRC. In this channel I, being
the doctor, will have ops. Nobody else has ops, not even the COM or WC. There
is a reason for this but I am not going to get into that because it would
bore the hell out of you. The ships nurse (probably going to be Gravin) and
the pilots involved will be voiced. NOBODY ELSE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SPEAK
unless they /msg me and give me your reason for wanting to speak and I will
voice you if it is valid. The talking of the voiced people will be taken in
turns and nobody is allowed to interupt unless I give my approval and the
person who is speaking is OK with it. During this time they will be letting
everyone know what the problem is from their side. The only person who may
interrupt without permission is me, myself and I. Once everyone has spoken
out with what the problem, then we can start looking at what they want the
other person to do about it and visa versa. When that is done we can try to
find a compramise and can solve the problem. After everything is done I will
set mode -m so that everyone may speak and will take questions. When the
problem is solved and everyone is happy then the round table session closes
and everyone may leave and go about their buisness.

Some ground rules...
1) No swearing or vulgar language or you get slapped with a wet trout >:P
2) No personal attacks and destructive behaviour.
3) You need to be ready and want to get the problem solved.
4) When the non-voiced people are allowed to ask questions do NOT make them
disruptive questions or you will be given a warning via a kick. You get 2
warning kicks and then I ban you untill you cool off and are willing to help
make things better intead of worse.

There might be some things I left out when explaining this and if there is I
will fill them in the moment I notice them.

I hope I will never have to use the round table meathod but it is there
should a problem arise. This is a proven meathod of problem solving and it
does work. It comes directly recommended by some of the worlds most famous
psychologists and problem solvers.

On to the next thing...I want to know everything that could possibly hurt
morale. If you are slightly unhappy with someone else LET ME KNOW. I cannot
do my job properly unless I know that the problem is there. I also want a
report from the CMDRs of every squadron about their squads morale so that it
can help me with my weekly reports to my superiors in the Med Corps.

My brother showed me something realy funny today. Through a simple
mathamatical equation Women can be defined. Here is how it works....

We all know that in order to keep a girl happy we need time and money.
  Girl=Time x Money
Now it is common knowledge that Time=Money so....
  Girl=Money x Money
  Girl=Money2
It is also common knowledge that money=the root of all evil....So....
  Girl= (root of all evil)2
Therefore we come to the conclusion that...
  Girl=Evil
I am honoured to be the Doctor of this excelent wing. Remember....WING XI
RULEZ!!!! Lets have fun and enjoy ourselves.

Well, it has been another good week for the Avenger.
Though, I think I may need a DOC. I have been trying to
get a few things done but keep hitting walls. Oh well.

The comp between the two wings of the SSD Avenger continues.
Looks like it is going to be a close match up. Although, we have only
just begun to start flying.:-) I do believe that Wing I will end
up victorius.
I only recieved one reoprt this week. (Kale pulls out the wet noodle)
I will see what I can do about this.
You know me I am not afraid to do a little boot'n.

Well, sorry for the sort report this week.

Promotions:

Yes yes its a day late but for good reasons heres the report.

IMPERIAL SENATE

<Salute>

Doctor Imperialistichasser has joined up with us, bringing the IS-FMC back up to 3 members.  Small, yes, but remember, the Senate is in a growing stage as well.  By next week, I'll have
contacted all the CCNs and the CHS about establishing a far more visible FMC presence.

Both Doc Imperialistichasser and SMS Jaccr Crais have told me they're ready to go out and take their tests, which is good news.  Seeing as I'm a professor myself, I've got a vested
interest here.  =P

In other news, I'm going to be putting an IS-FMC webpage into the works at long last.  We didn't have too much need for one before since we had (have) so few people and weren't
making a big effort in recruiting, but we're going to be heading in that direction very soon.  The first priority, however, is to get the people we already have trained and ready in order to
help the Senate.
