FLEET MEDICAL CORPS REPORT, MAY/1
"Honor, Dignity, Doing the Impossible"

MEMBERSHIP COUNT: 45

"Make it too tough for the enemy to get in, and you won't be able to get out." - Murphy's Laws of Combat

GENERAL
I have finally managed to get an up-to-date roster up and - surprise! - we are at fourty-five members! That's a record membership count since the founding of the FMC in January 2000! The TC is flourishing unlike anytime before - great thanks to the new Captain Morgan, the new Captain Striker and Lieutenant Commander Kale who got a Bronze Star of the Empire for his excellent work.
I am also very satisfied with the work of our IW-branch - another Wing opened for a notuer DOC/N-couple to serve there...
We have a little few applications for the FMC SpecOps - don't forget that this might also be a good place for those people in the Reserves - you don't ahve to be on a specific ship to serve there.
Righto. Else the week has been quite good.

XMO NEWS
Wee...absolutely nothing to report this week =P
At last nothing for the public =P
COME TO THE MEETING! =P

the next one will be Mr. Kale with his ASFAV-report:

Well, I must say it has been a VERY productive week.
We have had tons of new recruits. As a matter of fact, EVERYONE
in/on my roster is a Sublieutenant. There have been a lot of requests
to join the FMC and I have filled all positions except the positions
from:
M-CRV Tripidium, and ISD Intrepid, Wing XIV, simply because I cant find
the
mailing list for these two ships.
I would like to welcome the newest members to the FMC:

DOC/SL Draco / ISD Grey Wolf, Wing XIII
N/SL Janson / ISD Grey Wolf, Wing XIII
N/SL Carren / SSD Avenger, Wing I
DOC/SL Saak / SSD Avenger, Wing II
N/SL Xanthir Cloudblade / SSD Avenger, Wing II

Lots of newbies, so I really didn't expect a large number of reports.
And like moses the profit it shall be done.
Reports came as I expected, only one from the oldest member
of the Avenger, SL Karimicus and SL Mo from he ISD Vanguard wing XV
SL MO:
Well, I introduced the Spirit Points idea, as of yet, no one has yet
replied.  I will get a much more detailed report once my last exam
finishes. Next week that is.  All right then.
SL Karimicus:
no news to report, finishing avenger radio drama part 1 :P ignore me for
the next 2 weeks till I get my exams finished.
--------------------------------------------------
Well, it seems like RL is a booger! I have been looking at the
Avenger(cause that's my ship) and we have had a lot of very exciting
news on the ship, lots
of challenges and tons of fun.The Avenger, Esp. Wing I has gotten a lot
of new recruits. This is always a good thing. ("I am A
Admiral")(sublimiminal message)
As is  the comps always going on. Wing I and Wing II are going at it, I
guess there is a grudge to see who is best.
Other than that I hope to see more DOC's Report in next week.

SMS/LCM Kale/TC-ASFAV/M-TFC Last Hope

and here as the last one in Mr. Striker:
Sovereign FMC Report #2: SMS Wil_Striker reporting:

This past week has been great! With all of the FMC positions on the SSSD
Sovereign filled, we can now concentrate on more important matters
within each wing. Several teams have already submitted some ideas that
SNS Dark Viper and I will be going over to see how we can make them work
across the entire Sov. The Sov FMC Medical team is really coming
together, and I am pleased to be a part of this.
First off, I would like to announce that every wing reported in this
week! This is a monumental achievement, and one I am proud to see. Keep
up the good work people!
DOC Astarosta was given a promotion to LCM for his hard work and
dedication to the FMC. Well done DOC!

Wing I has finally acquired a new Nurse, welcome SL Thraxus Paladin.
Nurse Paladin deserves a special note as the first CT in training on
M/PLT Daedaleus, that I am aware of, to actively seek out the FMC and
join before completing his training in the TIE Corps. Now that’s what I
call inspiration!

I must say that I am very pleased with the medical staff that we now
have on the SSSD Sovereign, and it is going to be a great pleasure to
work with each and every one of you in the future. ?
If any of you are having problems getting reports from the CMDR’s in
your respective wings, please let me know as soon as possible so that I
can help remedy that. I know Wing V doesn’t have that problem anymore
since each CMDR realizes how important it is for the FMC staff to have
this information. Wing I has notified me that there is a current problem
there but it is now rectified thanks to GN Wolly. So if anybody else is
experiencing this problem please notify me at once.
I have been informed that the DOC/Nurse course is now back online.
Anyone with the rank of SL is encouraged to take this exam and get
promoted to LT!

Wing I: DOC Kaleel Tempus reports:
Hello sir, I know I havent contacted you in awhile, but the only reason
that
I dont send in reports is that I dont get all of the squadron reports
before
Tuesday, and there are some that I never receive at all.
Wing status = 42 +2 from last week.
Wing II: DOC Astarosta reports:
Medical report - Wing II - May 1st, 2001
----------------------------------------------------------
Another good week with a nice deal of activity and newcomers on Wing II.
COL Inkwolf has taken a 2 week leave due to heavy RL workload, and the
fool who speaks (erm...me :p) is now acting WC until her return. On the
promotions side, Sigma's CMDR Todbringer got his long deserved MAJ
badge, and Kappa's Flight III leader and Wing II Nurse Jan Wemmel went
up to CM. Sigma squadron returned to their traditional full roster and
polish drunkness, and Kappa AWOLed a pilot, but got a new one in the
same day. Things keep on rolling smoothly.
Wing status = 43 -1 from last week.
Wing III: DOC Osan’gar reports:
Here is my Fleet Medcorps report for Wing III.
Wing III membership has increased to 31 this weekfollowing the arrivals
of some veteran Wing IIIers from the reserves. Aleth Squadron gained a
pilot from
Daedalus, Beth Squadron gained two pilots from the reserves, Daleth's
numbers stayed the same while Hey Squadron lost a pilot through being
AWOL but gained
another from the reserves.
The Wing III Survivor competition continues and only
five people are left in the comp with the process of voting another
person out going on as I write this report. The last round was a URL
hunt and CPT Osan'gar
gained immunity from voting for winning the challenge. As fewer people
remain in the competition, the rounds become harder each time with the
possibility of an
IS-SW going to the winner.
Another competition has also been announced in Wing III this week, a
website design contest. As Wing III currently has no website, the
competition is to make a
working and good looking site by the 15th May. The winner will receive
an IS-SR with their website becoming the official wing site.
The First Wing III TopGun contest is coming to an end and the results
will be out soon. This will be a monthly or fortnightly competition with
the winner
getting a medal and also the glory of the being the Top Gun for that
time period.
In other news, posting on the Wing message board is good and work on the
Sickbay page continues. I have had some submissions for the archive but
I am still
looking for more from all over the Wing.
Wing status = 31 +2 from last week.

Wing IV: DOC Halcyon reports:
<Salute>
Since being named the Doc of Wing IV, I have contacted the entire
wing
with a greeting message stating that I am here to help them if needed.
I
have also contacted Nurse Biges who has responded.  I am currently
trying to
think of ways to get our wing more active and reach higher morale, but
with
competitions, both inner and outer, going on within the wing, then
everyone
has been kept busy and happy.
Zayin Squadron: No sure what is happening with them.  Have not seen a
report
or any changes in their roster.
Cheth Squadron: There is a new CMDR in Cheth, CM Devin Tarelis.  I have
also
contacted him and have offered both my assisstance, and the assistance
of
the rest of the Wing IV command staff if he is in need of guidance.
Nothing else from them.
Teth Squadron: Are currently competiting in the semi-finals of the
Squadron
League.  Results of that should be out soon, and the entire Wing is
rooting
for them.  Also, a pilot from Kaph squadron has transferred into Teth
giving
them a full squadron.
Yod Squadron: CPT Morth has been promoted to Flight Leader of Flight II
in
Yod and they are currently trying to raise their citations.  I am also
trying to create a Flight I webpage for Yod.  Also, two pilots have left
Yod
for the reserves because of RL.
Kaph: They have lost two pilots this week.  One pilot was AWOLed while
another transferred to Teth to help them out in the Squadron League.
Also,
LCM Akhil has been named the Flight Leader of Flight III.
Lamed: They have lost their CMDR due to real life and are down to only 2

pilots.  It is currently being considered what to do with Lamed as of
now.

Wing IV: The entire Wing is in an internal competition dubbed "Wing IV
Squadron League" which is much like the normal Squadron League.  The due

date for the First Round is today, so results are expected soon.  Also,
Wing
IV is involved in a three-way competition involving Wing I and the Rat
Pack.
FXWA-4 is being used and the due date is this Wednesday.  Results
should
be out by my next report.
Wing status = 38 +1 from last week.
Wing V: DOC Sickman reports:
Squadrons.
Mem Squadron
A excellent week for Mem, as they hit the 12 pilots mark, the 2 new
members joining this week are LT Jansen and SL Derrik Fey. 1 promotion,
Lot of activity with LT Dark Viper being the most active, 4 battles and
20 free mission completed. Morale is very high at Mem!

Nun Squadron
Not much from Nun again this week, squadron is at 7 members, some
communication from them would be nice:)

Samekh Squadron
Flying activity still pretty low for Samekh, as with the whole Wing, we
seem to be all in a rut. Awards & promotions for Samekh are:  SL Tark
Tanar was promoted to Lieutenant LT Zach was awarded an ISM.
Aylin Squadron
Communication has improved within Alyin this week, but the flying
activity is still a problem with only the CMDR flying. No awards or
promotions this week.
Pe Squadron
Pe are looking for a new FL for flight2, flying activity is low, but
morale seems good. No awards or promotions this week.
Sadhe Squadron
A quiet week for flying activity within Sadhe, again reflecting the
whole Wing in not really wanting to fly. 1 new addition to the ranks is
SL Corsair , which brings Sadhe upto 11. Morale is good, but the flying
flu continues.

DOC`s Note`s
Well something has gotta be done about this flying drought, or the
Flying flu as i call it, it`s not lack of communication from the pilots,
communication is high through out the wing, it`s just there is no desire
to fly or the old case of RL in the way. RL cannot be helped, but i
think the idea of mine for the FMC to release a free-mission would be
good, i was talking with Nurse RedTaz and one released say twice every
month would be good and Wil`s and Kerians idea of a Wing League, all
this fused together into a free-mission released twice a month in a
league system, with medals being awarded i think would give all members
something to gun for.
Wing Status = 50 -2 from last week.

Wing VI: DOC Alison Krupit reports:
Wing VI just had a competition approved with Wing V, top 12 high scores
from each wing on TC-TIE Battle #171.  No one needs any help yet, but
the Shin Squadron CMDR slot has just opened up.
Wing Status = 28 -1 from last week.
Current SSSD Sovereign status = 233, and ready to rock ‘n roll!

{Salute} Tina won the million dollars!!  Tina won the Million dollars!! News:Other than Survivor wrapped up this week (finally!!) Not too much happened.  Oh yeah!!   We have a new comp running this week!!  it's pretty simple really.   It's to increase communications, through emails.  There is awards for Squadron activity, and individual activity.  Also, PNO Hawkeye was promoted this week, and I'll be damned if I can remember if it was to LT, or LCM.  Something tells me it was to LCM seeing as he would have earned LT upon completion of his Principle course.  But none-the-less, congrats to you Hawk!! BOUNTY HUNTER'S GUILD
I have nothing major to report, however I have gotten a new PNO (yipes, I have to put him on the mail groups) and the FMCon
shall probably not be run until sometime June/July because that is when I will next have the needed time.  Also, I need TF,
XW, XWA, or XvT missions for the FMCon.  The requirement is simple: have it be medical related (ex: protecting an attacked
convoy).  Thats all, I'm done.
