Exercise Cantina Run -
Phase III Results
The dust
has settled and the results are in. The Relentless is the new
Battlegroup Flagship, their effort was amazing having 100% submission
in every single round.
We did win the final round however, lifting us up from the bottom
of the table and giving us third place. (The same place we had
a while back)

What can
be learned from this?
Well first of all it proves that participation is key. Every pilot
must submit something for the ship to stand a chance. This was
something we failed on, we never really matched the Relentless
or the Immortal for participation. Everyone should have been aware
that their submission would help the ship. It wasn't made aware
and we missed out a great deal of submissions because of it.
Secondly, despite the pre-warning we had of the competition, we
didn't get submissions in early so we had time to improve on them.
If we had time, who knows what quality points we could have picked
up. We were always trying to concentrate on getting the quantity
rather than having the quantity and the time to make the quality.
Thirdly, The support for the pilots who had no idea what to do
was not there. A perfect example of this was the graphics phase,
we had several pilots who had no idea what to do. Instead of helping
them, we never really did. The result was we didn't get a submission
from those pilots.
Lastly, no matter what others say, we have the skill within our
ranks to win the competition next time around. The last round
we won comfortably, anhilating the high score in the process.
With preparation, time and participation next time It could be
ours.
The following pilots have earned my respect and the respect of
the ship for submitting something for every round:-
CM Absoult Vodka | LT Darknyte | CPT Juve |
CM Brad Tack | CPT RAF | CPT Devlin |
LCM Kyle Katarn | CPT Devin McCloud | LT Andrew Strinder |
LCM Kalve Ryder | CM Wap Eal | MAJ Drake |

CM Lord
Linkan
celebrated one years service in the Tiecorps this week. I remember
when he first arrived on the ship, It was him that caused me to
lose the second Rats Extermination. I made it a point to know
him after that.
As a founder member (along with Amadeo and myself) of the
Colossus Insomniacs, He has consistently given a huge amount of
time for the Colossus. His is now a good friend of mine, and its
an honour to have him aboard.
IRC
I still cannot
get ops on #ISD_Colossus :( ,Kawolski doesn't like Darknyte
talking about (censored) on #Tiecorps :) Troutrooper refuses
to believe that me and Linkan can wipe out the Tactical
office backlog.. :P

Colossus
pilots went mad over at IWATS last week. Darknyte passed
Rebellion Tactics and ICQ, Bradtack passed Rebellion Tactics,
Kyle Katarn passed ICQ and someone called Drake
passed ICQ and Computer Basics... dunno who he is
BSF's
Last week
I reported that the Colossus had done 231 for the month.
The month has since closed and the Colossus finally managed 278!
WELL DONE!
However, when you look over the month Darknyte did 117
of them himself, meaning 161 were done by the remaining
40 odd pilots. Thats 4 each or less than one per pilot, per week.
I'm seeing the same names cropping up in the top 5 list every
week, Which concerns me... Even a slight increase in activity
and your on the top 5 list and get mentioned in the wing report!..
Tempting?
We are currently sitting on 4 BSF's for this month, but we are
only two days in. We did nearly 300 last month, That is
this months target...

Summaries
Mu Squadron has been without CM
Absolut Vodka (who has been on semi-leave) but A-CMDR LCM
Kyle Katarn is doing an admirable job. SL Corann Kojo
needs to get promoted.. He need's to contact me ASAP
Nu Squadron has had a difficult week. LT Darknyte
is A-CMDR until further notice. All TFR's go to him so he can
forward them to me. CM Khaland's position is NOT open,
I do not want any applications. This situation is only temporary.
Pi Squadron, no report this week. Hardly any visable
activity. Is anyone alive in Pi?
Omicron Squadron's Commander, CM Daniel Stephens
has returned from leave, but I didn't recieve a report.
Eta Squadron are once again my Squadron of the Week for having the highest participation
ratio in the final round of the ECR. ALL of your hard work
is paying off guys.. keep it up!
