Asp Squadron Report For Friday, April 27, 2001

NEWS

•     Operation Supremecy started last Friday, the 20^th. Our first round of competition is Asp Vrs. Echo. I strongly encourage all of you to to participate.
•     COL Miackus is the new Copperhead Squadron Commander and CM Rekio Corsair is the new Asp Squadron Commander.
•      Also, on a sad note, MAJ Astin is resigning (as he posted on the Asp MB) from the TIE Corps. MAJ was a fromer Commander of Asp; he was also the most decorated and experienced pilot in the squadron. He will be missed.
•     There is a new pilot in the squadron, everyone welcome LCM Azrael. He has been promoted to Flight Leader of Flight Three.
•    We also lost a pilot this week, LT Devin Taralis was promoted to CMDR another squadron. Its sad to see him go.
•    The postion for the Flight Leader of Flight 2 will be determined by activity. The most active piloit ( excluding Azrael and myself ) will earn the position of Flight Leader.

Squadron Commander’s Goals

• Everyone in the squadron to download MSN Messenger (for easier contact between members)
• Everyone in the squadron to complete TC-XvT- 1 throught 10
• Everyone to be seen on mIRC
• Everyone to post at least one message on the squad, wing, or GF MBs
• The squadron to receive 10 citations
• The squadron to get a webpage up and online
• Everyone to participate in at least one multiplayer event
• I'd also like to recruit at least four Cadets ( we lost/ losing: Astin, Devin, and maybe Mark ( if he doesn't report in, so it would do us some good to pick up a few more pilots )

LCM Azrael- transferred from Cobra to Asp, promoted to FL of Flight 3, completed  TC-TIE-33, completed TC-TIE-52

LT Ultima- completed IWATS course CBX, promoted to LT, sent in a banner

Miscellaneus

            I’d like to take a vote on a new squadron banner. LT Stolle sent in a banner and Ultima has sent in a banner. Please send you comments and votes to me ASAP so we can post one of these as our new banner.

         Also,  I would like some more members to participate in Operation Supremecy with me; It’s required that we have at least 3 of 7 members fly or we will be disqualified. 

        I'd like for everyone to to meet regularly, so if everyone could send me some preferences that would be nice.

            Recruit !! We need more people !!
