I would like to personally welcome all new recruits to the Emperor's Hammer. We are growing at an accelerating rate of about 1 new recruit per day with 30 members confirmed. Considering the Hammer has only been active since 1/7/95, we are well on our way to becoming the premier online TIE Wing...

As for general events within the Emperor's Hammer...You will read in this Newsletter about the approval of Battle 2 - Strike at Calamari for further development. I have already previewed Mission 1 and found it to be challenging, to say the least. Pending response from the other Squadron Commanders, I intend to post the award of the Medal of Tactics to General Andrew (Barnaleez), Lambda III Flight Leader in Newsletter No. 7, due out on or about Friday, 2/3/95...

In addition, the Executive Officer and Tactical Officers are both diligently editing additional missions for our enjoyment...I can't thank the mission editors enough...Without them, all we would be doing is talking about TIE Fighter...

There have been a couple of recent E-Mail inquiries regarding creation of a "conference" on AOL...I would ask that any Wing Members with experience setting these up with AOL to contact me @ W Call.

One last point...The Office of the Wing Commander is not extremely pleased with the amount of submissions...I know I'm not the only one out there with creative impulses. Submit stories, articles, personal bios, etc. for inclusion in the Newsletters. Submissions by Squadron Commanders will be posted in the Officer's Deck or Squadron Ready Room sections of the Newsletters and those from Flight Leaders and Flight Members will be posted in the Avenger's Cantina section...
