Long ago, and far away,
There was a lush world, green and bright.
The lustrous sun warmed the skin in the day,
And the three moons warmed the soul at night.

Green leafy ghabk plants grew on the plains,
  Where clear, pure water flowed.
Stava stalked the habakha among the grains
  And khablah plants we hoed.

Noghri Life was good until the fatal day
Fire rained from the bright, blue sky
  And took our hope away.
That was when our world did die.

  Plants once green, turned brown.
Clear water no longer ran clear.
Predators had no prey to hunt down,
  And Noghri started to fear.

He said he could save us all.

Then an army came to our home,
But Noghri fear no one or thing.
We thrust the knife, and crushed the bone
But one bested our best, without suffering,

He was the tallest thing there was in sight,
And this man we could not defeat.
With heavy breath and dressed in night.
He forced us choking down at his feet.

Our world in despair, no hope in sight.
We saw this being as the blade.
That would slay us with its might.
Instead, to us a promise he made.

  Our water would flow clear.
  Our land he would save.
The stava could again hunt here,
If our sons in service to him we gave.

This was a small price to pay,
For Lord Vader was true to his word.
Much help the empire gave from that day.
Once again there was hope for our world.

  Then that liar, Solo came.
And sowed doubt in our clans.
She said Honoghr would never be the same,
That there was deception in our master's plans.

My people left our beautiful home.
And were taken to a place the rebels must hate.
  Homeless I now do roam.
But the lying rebels to me will compensate .

  Their lifeblood I will spill.
  Until my wrath shall slake.
For I am Noghri, and with Noghri skill,
  Rebel lives will I take.
