After his summer vacation, RA Langer (langer@interlog.com) has returned to his new position in the EH Intelligence Division, as Census Director (CNSDR) of the Ubiqtorate. This puts him 3rd in charge. Welcome back Langer.

Also all new recruits must e-mail Langer with their chosen ID Name, e-mail address, and Strike Team they wish to join. Choices are: Heimlichkeit, Nazgul, Jaeger, and Moerder. 

Since the 2nd extended and leave of absence of RA Demos (tellyd@interaccess.com) from the Ubiqtorate, the position of Situations Liaison Director is going to be removed until further notice. SDIR Brad will make a new ID webpage and host it under his xoom account. The URL will be released in the upcoming week. I will not be accepting new applicants for the SLDR position, until I formally announce it. 

There are several new features in our training system. SDIR Brad and I have been working on this for several months, and are hoping that this will help the trainees learn more effectively and quickly.J Instead of simple Strike Team Training, which only goes so far, we will include the addition of IWATS-type "courses". Before you are promoted to a branch, you shall take a course specializing in either Infiltration or Internal Security, as well as the test that comes with it. Should you wish to enhance your knowledge, several courses will be offered later, such as IRC Surveillance and Protection, Information on Nukes(and how to protect yourself) Advanced Infiltration, Encryption/passwords and more. Successful completion of these courses will not only improve your chance of being promoted, but you will also be able to add an Intel-Only rank to your ID Line. These are basically bragging rights, but otherwise are cool to have. Refer below to see what the new ranks are. Also outlined are the courses that are required, and which ones are optional. Please, it is important that you go over them, so have a look.

Vice Admiral Emperor's Hand, is taking submissions for the next Intelligence Division Newsletter. If you are a Strike Team member, newsletter submissions count for points towards your Strike Team. All other ID members are encouraged to participate as well. The newsletter will be posted on the new ID webpage, and a copy will be distributed through the ID. In similar fashion to how the old EH newsletters were distributed. (Only the EH veterans remember what I'm talking about).
