If you can do better (and I'm sure some people can), feel free to send me a copy... :) INSTRUCTIONS ------------ I'm using Win95, but if you have Win3.x I'm sure it can't be too hard to figure out. Here's what I did... Put the icons somewhere safe. In the Windows directory if you want, or maybe the Tie Fighter directory... up to you. Start the WINDOWS EXPLORER. Click on VIEW and select OPTIONS from the menu. A new window should appear. Click on the FILE TYPES tab. Click on the NEW TYPE button. In DESCRIPTION OF TYPE, put Tie Fighter Mission File or Tie Fighter Pilot File, or something appropriate. In ASSOCIATED EXTENTION, put tie (missions) or tfr (pilots). Then click on the CHANGE ICON button. Browse for your icon, which should be where ever you put it. Select it. You should now see the icon displayed on the ADD NEW FILE TYPE window. Click on the OK button. That's all there is to it. If you check your Tie Fighter dierctories, the appropriate files should now have the new icon. Repeat the procedure for the second file type. --
