The ID receives a generous gift from the FC

The ID has recieved the Fleet Commander's generous gift of the Imperial Dungeon Ship Lichtor V. The Lichtor V served a glorious term as the flagship of the Dark Brotherhood and housed the elite Tau squadron. The Lichtor V lost its status as the flagship upon the receipt of the SSSD Sovereign into the Fleet. The old flagship of the Fleet, the SSD Avenger, was given to the Dark Brotherhood as its new flagship, and hence the Lichtor V has been given to us. The Lichtor V will serve as the flagship of the ID. It is an ideal flagship and it will house all of the prisoners captured during our ID ops...

New Interrogation Manual Released

The newest version of the ID's Interrogation Manual, version 1.5, has finally been completed and should be availiable with this NL. This new version has quite a few additions, including a few new sections, a new policy regarding e-mail addresses and club membership (outlined below...), and other such things. The new manual should be distributed with this NL, but if it isn't, it will be availiable on the FTP site and the Fleet Commander's Library very soon. If you still can't get it from those two places or here, then one can e-mail the SDIR (SDIR@poboxes.com or EHSarkis@aol.com) for a personal copy mailed to the requester...

Three New Ships Added To ID Fleet

The ID has the honor of being the first group with a Battle pertaining to the Fleet Commander's Campaign, "The Emperor: Alive or Vision?" In this battle featuring the FRG StormWind, the ID has run across some new, intact ships. The ID has acquired a Strike Cruiser, a Victory-class Star Destroyer, and an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. The new ships each will be activated when the previous ship has reached at least 75% capacity. The Strike Cruiser will be activated after the Frigate, then the VSD, and then the ISD.

New Policy For E-mail Addresses

There is a slight change regarding E-mail addresses and multiple group memberships. Before, EVERY agent had to have two separate address, one for the EH and one for the ID, upon joining the ID. Now, there is a work-around to that: joining the ID Navy. If you completely transfer from the EH Navy to the ID Navy, you carry your e-mail address with you. Transferring to the ID Navy counts as a total transfer, and will take you out of the EH Naval roster and into the ID Naval roster. The ID Navy follows the same format as the EH Navy, regarding positions and ranks. Though, since each squad serves a specific branch of the ID, each position will usually carry a position with it. CMDRs of an ID Squad are equal to BRLR of their respective branch, a FL is equal to the SCLR, and a FM is equal to a BRAG. These positions are standard, but if a particular member has a DIFFERENT ID position than Naval position, that will be noted in the roster as well.
