Monthly Report
In this submission some of the things done by CIT are included.
CIT managed to attack the secret New Republic FACīs and capture them.
A day after itīs capture the work on VSD Destroyer and ISD Challenge began.
The New Republic doesnīt suspect a thing and continues to deliver equipment to us.
On the 1 January 1996 (Standard Earth date) the CIT VSD Destroyer was complete.
Constructing the ISD Challenge has the highest priority. We are working 24 hours a day with as many workers as possible. And with new technology and other advances the ISD Challenge will be one of the fastest ISDīs build in the galaxy. We are anticipating that personell and equipment from the EH can be transfered to the ISD Challenge when the next NL comes out. And in another month it should be ready for battle. Of course minor adjustments will continue another month. Of course all equipment has gone through CIT and been improved. So when completed the ISD Challenge will be a better ISD than the rest of the ISD currently in duty. We will soon report exactly what the improvments are. When the ISD Challenge is complete we may also, if the FC wishes it, do the same improvments to the other ISDīs in the fleet. We can also modify all capital ships in the fleet for the better. Modifications will take from 2 weeks to a month.
The VSD Destroyer will serve as the CIT flagship and will begin to transport cargo etc. It will also escort and help several CIT convoys. For the moment it is helping with the building of the ISD Challenge.
We at CIT hope that when refered to the ISD Challenge we hope that it will be noted that it is not build by KDY but by CIT.
As a last note:
The CIT CEO modem broke down a few days so he hasnīt been able to contact the EH or CIT.

Of course this is just an example. Another configuration is that all EH craft are Top Ace, Imperial Ace and Rebels and Pirates are at veteran. How to decide the average AI of a flight group. You should see how many of each rank there are in a flight. If itīs a tie two are GN and two are MG and the CMDR is among the 2 MG he the flight group would become Top Ace.

The new TIE Penetrator is one of the fastest line of starfighters ever known, it outruns the Sienar Fleet Systems, TIE Defender and has a prolonged SLAM (not fully tested) duration that beats the Missile Boat counterpart. It's only weakness is it's lack of shields, like any other fine imperial craft. The researchers at Jedi Works have yet to come up with a prototype with shields. TIE Sniper (T/S)
Shortly, after the nicknamed "TIE Avenger", which was built by Sienar Fleet Systems was
followed by the TIE Sniper which was built by Jedi Works. The TIE Sniper uses the same chassis or framework as the TIE Avenger or TIE Advanced, but has different systems.
This starfighter has better manuverability than a normal TIE Advanced, and better shields. But this innovation lacks the speed and hyperdrive of a TIE Advanced. Instead of
the four lasers, this ship has four front turbolasers which do a 4 percent damage to a heavily shielded capital ship such as the Rebellion's prized Mon Calamari Cruisers.

Galactic Class Star Destroyer (GSD)
Another, idea from those "think tanks" at Jedi Works, has come up with an upgraded version of an Imperial Star Destroyer - The Galactic Class Star Destroyer or GSD.
The Galactic Class Star Destroyer contains two hangar bays at the flanks of the 4 kilometre superstructure instead of the bottom , on the normal Imperial Star Destroyer (ISD) counterpart. The GSD has two extra tractor beams for 'grabbing' faster ships for capture such as the Millenium Falcon (a modified correllian transport) or an A-Wing. With it's greater cargo capacity, it has a larger amount of ground forces.

Other Types of Ships
Assault Shuttle (A/SHU)
The Assault shuttle is used to accomodate troops, especially Zero-G Stormtroopers.
It is used for capturing rebel capital ships, as it has two of it's own ion cannons.
The Assault Shuttle is one of the first shuttles to be equipped with a tractor beam, which
idea was taken from Zaarin's TIE Defender research facility when it was re-captured.
It's shields are significantly stronger than the escort shuttle and reaches the same sublight speed as an X-wing fighter. The Assault shuttle has the quad laser configuration,
like the TIE Defender and is armed with dual concussion missile launchers. Unlike the Escort shuttle, this model lacks the rear mounted turbolaser turret, as it is it's only weakness.

EH TECHNOLOGY BRIEFING
Editing of ships in TIE CD:
Ship editing in TIE CD is now possible thanks to the combined efforts of Md128m and Shekinah. They found the codes and made a UGE module set, which includes 23 ships. The "ovl" that TIE CD uses is about half a meg zipped so another way of transferring the new fighters might be advisable. The fastest way so far, is to make UGE modules with the number or name you should type in on UGE, thus members will be able to edit without needing to know hex.
TIE Fighter Graphics:
Graphics can now be edited in TIE Fighter and TIE CD. It would be preferrable not to use TIE CD as a graphics editing program since you need to have 3 files of large size for new graphics. TIE Fighter, on the other hand, only needs one file. Luck is a key player in the editing of ship graphics since we don't have a template to go on. Once, and if, a template is established, graphics editing will be very easy. All TIE ships use polygons to make up their "3-D" look. There are two planes, for constructing polygons (X and Y), but three for putting them in the game (X, Y, and Z), the Z is to position it in 3-D. As of now, polygon editing is somewhat unpredictable, but it's beginning to make sense.

Here's DEC's first new graphic ship. The zip contains 1) The species file
which you must copy over your old one (Backing it up first of course :)) 2)
A flight.ovl for the new ship and 3) A historical mission for the ship. It
replaces the TIE Fighter, so you have to select "shields added" in TMB. Two
of the lasers are out of place, but I am going to try and fix that. I am
also submitting this for the NL if its not to late.

ENRAD Systems
Epilson Nebula Research And Development(ENRAD) The Epilson Nebula Research And Development (ENRAD) center is dedicated to wiping out the Rebellion by testing new fighters, capital ships, and modifications of already proven ships. ENRAD is based in the Core Systems and first developed fighter is the Tri-Ion Engine fighter. Several capitol ships are on the development board, and more fighters are in the preliminary stages of planning. The Prevail-class Star Destroyer is the newest Star Destroyer developed by ENRAD. Trials are being held, and are scheduled to be equipped with the ENRAD Systems Raider and the TIE Invader. ENRAD believes with the new fighters and ships produced, the Empire shall once again triumph over the Rebellion. We feel the Emperor's Hammer Organization is the best suited group for the leadership of the Empire. The ENRAD center will supply the weapons of war needed by the EH, at their demand. The ENRAD center is dedicated to the ideals of the Empire, and hopes to help bring this powerful government into power once again.
Continuum Fleet Systems
Enclosed is my first of a 6-ship line I have started to be named Lag. They are all to be done under Rebel starfighter hulls, and this one is done under the Z-95. Each ship will have its own specific purpose. The one enclosed, the Lag-2, is a light fighter to be equipped on ships with too little hangar room for serious escort fighters.
Here is my full report on the Lag-2.

I designed this to be a starfighter capable of outmaneuvering all current Rebel fighters, including the A-Wing and T-Wing. All laser racks and weapons racks are in sync, and I have made sure not to overpower it. The method in which the lasers are arranged lets pilots easily "grip" a target in their line of fire. The amount of warheads it is capable of carrying allows it to be rigged for a somewhat odd but possibly effective attack on capital ships. I sincerely hope you approve of my work and I look forward to serving the Hammer again.
