This is the first of a group of Imperial Data Hand Books. These books will help our pilots
adapt to the changing Rebel Fleet. Since it now seems that the Rebel Scum have our ships we
must learn how many hits it takes to destroy them. The Emperor, Lord Vader, and GA Ronin
believe that following chart will help our pilots use their missiles more efficiently. For
example most of our pilots don't know how many rockets it takes to destroy a Nebulon-B
Frigate. With this chart all you have to do is find Nebulon-B FRG and look over to the Hvy
Rocket column and you will see the number 12.

Dear Grand Admiral Ronin:
I suggest the following plan to organize the missions for the Emperor's Hammer. It requires less copying and renaming.
C:\ \TIE \RMissions (Regular Missions) \HMissions (Hammer Missions)
Once in the TIE Directory create the directory HMissions and rename Mission RMission. Move all the Hammer Missions to the HMission directory and rename them to correspond with the regular mission of that battle so they will run (i.e. The regular battle one mission one is b1m1fm.tie. Rename Hmrb1m1.tie to b1m1fm.tie.). If you want to play the missions that came with the original TIE Fighter, you only have to rename RMission to Mission. If you want to play the Hammer missions, rename HMission to Mission. This requires little renaming and there is no need to backup original missions. However, when you enter the game and choose a mission that is not in the Hammer Missions the game will return you to DOS. The only way to keep this from happening is when you enter the briefing before a mission and that mission isn't in the mission directory there will be no map of the mission on the screen. I think you will find that this is the easiest way to play the Hammer missions.
