Squadron Report # 7 – August 19, 2005

<SALUTE>

This Report is going out on time, as I have nowhere to go this weekend. I am really pleased with our two new pilots, and I do understand why our two FL’s are not here, as I know they have Real Life excuses, that I know are legitimate.
The four squadron competitions are the FCHG race, Graphics, Fiction, and Recruitment. So far Ocih is winning the FCHG race, However, Jorivs is the second highest scoring Mantis pilot in the Top Dog, under me. So please submit for Top Dog, and also submit for the Squadron competitions.

Old Business

• Vanguard Top Dog Competition started August 1 and ends August 31st.
• Wing XV Website is up and running. Updates are still to come, but all the necessary information is on it already. www.isdvanguard.ehnet.org

New Business

• ISD Top Dog Competition to be hosted by me, WC, and COM. AUG 1 – 31
• I am very pleased with our two new pilots, any questions, E-Mail me as our Flight Leaders are on Real Life leave.
• Starting Monday, my activity will be a little limited as I have two weeks of band camp, you will hardly notice at all.

Image Gallery Released

EHNet has been updated to version 1.1. This revision of the site brings with it the long-awaited Emperor's Hammer Image Gallery, replacing the old image archive.
Sign up to EHNet today to get access to upload images directly into the image gallery. The process is moderated by me, so images will not appear in the gallery until after they have been approved.
Images appropriate to upload include member photos, screenshots and images/graphics to do with the Emperor's Hammer

2 Week Bug Coverage is Back!

I'm VERY pleased to announce that the 2 week bug correction coverage is now back in action! Thats right ladies and gentlemen, every bug report you post on the database will be investigated within two weeks guaranteed!
All of the bugs that were there this summer got corrected today, however, TIE TC 225 has major issues hence has been removed from download from the time being, it will be fixed as soon as I figure out what went wrong in the upload.
Thank you! And just a reminder that FCHG battles are due on the 28th!

Praetorian reaches 450 Citations

Praetorian Squadron has reached an all time high of 450 citations. This is an accomplishment never before seen in the Tie Corps and is one that proves the Elite status of Praetorian. Congrats to Colonel Malik and his Praetorians.
We need more Submissions!

The Tactical Office is in Dire need of more submissions, because of these special circumstances I will give a Bronze Star to every pilot who submits 20 missions or more to this office before September 14th 2005.
Thats right folks, you heard it right, a bronze star for every pilot who submits 20 missions to the tactical office, in mission or battle form will receive a Bronze Star!
Also a reminder that FCHG Battles for the competition are due on the 28th, anybody that requires an extention can e-mail me right away and state his reasons.

[TO] Summer Patrol, what is it?

Summer Patrol 2005 runs simply as follows:
-Fly the required amount of missions from the selected battles each week or you are out of the competition
-At the end, anyone surviving gets an IS-GW
-This year there will be bonus Missions and Battles which will vary widely in battle/mission, platform, conditions, and medals. Rest assured, if you do not participate in bonus events you still qualify for the IS-GW

All XvT and BoP patches updated to work with EHSP 3.0 and XP SP2

They all should work again now, if you have EHSP 3.0 installed (required). Updates generally include the 32 bit patcher (so it'll work with XP SP2 if you use the XPInstaller), new patch files and updates to the readme.
Some patches have different cockpit choices (the "Default" instead of "Gunboat") and the Hyperion Fighter now has a higher pitch rating.

EH team wins August Jedi Outcast Week of War!
03:19 - RA Scoser
With reckless abandon, the EH JO team led by their OHC (and COO) smashed all opposition in the August Week of War and landed a dominant first place. Individually, Scoser took 1st for his 4th JO WoW win, going undefeated (27-0) throughout the week. Threat took 2nd, giving the EH an unprecedented 1-2 finish in JO WoWs. Also finishing strong were Delak in 4th, and Dante in 7th. An incredible job by all those who parcipated! Congratulations and your medals will be recced tomorrow!
Coming up on the 19th is the start of the XvT and JA WoWs.

• Mail the weekly activity reports to me before every Friday Afternoon
• All pilots pass the following IWATS: IWATS, IIC/1 and M/1
• All FL’s pass the following IWATS: SM/3 with at least 85%

• Recruit please. Recruitment for Mantis is now the next step in rebuilding our squadron into a great one. We have good Flight Leaders and Members, now the five of us must try and recruit.
• I submitted 4 Squadron Competitions for us. Graphics (Make a New Banner), Fiction, FCHG Race, and a Recruitment Drive. They started on the 15th and end on the 31st. Anything that you do for these 4 competitions, DO NOT forget to submit it for the big competition, so E-Mail anything you did for any of these competitions to La’an, Wolvie, and Arid.
