Aggressor Strike Force report #14

- BATTLEGROUP NEWS -
Wing XIII WC sought LC Ambar Kilick, Wing Commander of the ISD Grey Wolf, has announced his retirement due to technical problems. RA CrimsonFury is looking for a new WC, if you are interested send your applications to him and remember that standard ASF requirement apply (see ASF Standing Orders). Medals! Once again the ISD Intrepid Flag Officers have been the first ones to process the MSE rewards. Major Exar Kit, CO of Diamondback Squadron, has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. CM Nutrientman has received the Bronze Star of the Empire, CM El Guapo and CPT Big Poppa K have received the Palpatine Crescent while LT Plague and CM Gara Pethotel have received the Imperial Security Medal. Congratulations everyone and thanks to Apophis and Adren for their quick work! Competitions reminder I still have to receive a single submission for the MP Combat Challenge competition and this is a real shame considering that the ASF is supposed to be a multiplayer Battlegroup. Find an opponent and fly today, there is a easy IS-GW medal waiting for you! Then there is the Recruitment Drive competition that allow you to receive a IS-BW, IS-SW or a IS-GW dependign on the performance of the pilot you have recruited. Click on the links below for more infos. Freeworlds news Yesterday the Empire launched another fleet assault against the New Republic forces. All IN squadrons have been involved and participation was quite good with at least 3 or 4 pilots from each squadron. The entire operation has been a major success, NR forces started to die like flees after only few minutes and later on they decided to hide in their MonCal cruisers. All the ASF pilots that participated in the assault should post their name in the roll call thread on the Imperial forum. Tech FAQ I have posted a series of FAQ about the most common problems with TIE Fighter, Xwing vs TIE Fighter and Xwing: Alliance, check them out. I plan to add more stuff in the next weeks including FAQ even for other games. If you think that I forgot to include some useful FAQ just drop me a line or contact me when I am on IRC.

Medals!

Imperial Storm - The Final Battle 11:25 - HA Priyum Patel On the verge of capturing the planet Telos and claiming a Major Victory, the Sith team have been attacked by the remnants of the Sovereign Fleet. The Battle for Telos Sovereign Fleet: ESC Eliminator (Omega T/D, Sin T/D, Sigma T/D x6), ATR Pirahna x6 Sith Fleet: ISD II Nocturnus (Harbinger T/D, Black Omega T/A, Sentinel T/A, Nightstalker T/A, Nightmare T/A, ATR Nadd, ATR Ommin, ATR Kun, ATR Kaan), VSD Horde (Nightshade T/D x8, Stingray T/A, Hammerhead T/A x11), VSD Grausch The situation looks extremely grim for the brave Sovereign forces. Unless they can knock out all three of the Sith capital ships, the Sith will claim their victory. The MP battle will take place on Thursday 11th August @ 10PM GMT / 5PM EST in IRC channel #isd_predator. Since this is the last battle of Imperial Storm V, I would greatly appreciate seeing as many of you attend in support as possible - particularly Sovereign pilots if they are to make any sort of impact against the Sith Fleet. I hope to be able to release the SP missions shortly, keep checking the Imperial Storm website. Officially on Leave 20:58 - FA Vladet Xavier Alright, this time it's for keeps. Starting tomorrow afternoon (August 8th) I will officially be on leave until around August 22nd (Monday). During this time I will be working for my new company and getting set up for the new school semester. Any concerns should be sent to Grand Admiral Astatine and/or Sector Admiral Sarin.
