Significant Events of Childhood and Adolescence: Araujo was originally hand picked and recruited by an imperial task force led by Moff Carlos Mendoza and the by-then Line Captain Mónica Hidalgo. Like his recruiters he was “taken” from a planet called Earth in a distant corner of the galaxy. Humans from Earth tend to live a longer time than others. He started his career when he was 14 years old as a naval trooper. On battlefronts he quickly learned how to and did show skills to drive vehicles and repair them. From time to time he went back to his homeworld where he did look forward to learn things that could be helpful for his new career like becoming an engineer and learning martial arts. At one certain point he did not returned to Earth anymore but fullfilled his duties as an imperial soldier 24/7.

Significant Events of Adulthood: Because of his skills as a pilot, specially for the TIE Fighters and TIE GTs he was reassigned to be a naval pilot. After working as a mechanic in an imperial warship, his application to join the starfighter corps was accepted. He then begun training although he already knew most of the basics. The training was hard and extensive. The by-then Lt. Miranda made sure Araujo would have his chances against many odds. After training and being drilled in military procedure he was assigned to a distant outpost where he easily earned good reputation, medals and rose up in the ranks. Within months he was reassigned again to more important missions and worked very often with another young pilot called Maarek Stele. After helping in the chase of imperial rogue admiral Harkov he was sent to the frontlines against the growing rebel forces. The battles were hard, he traded one kind of confidence for another: not even the fastest and shielded crafts could save you and serve the Empire for you, the only thing that can protect your life and the Empire is your own skill. After notice this Araujo turned to fly anything, he didn’t care as long as he could stay alive to serve the Empire. Many times he had to eject (or was auto-ejected) of course, but he gained a valuable field experience and proved to be slightly better than the average pilot. Surprisingly he was assigned to Avenger Squadron ; an imperial elite fighter squadron. The compromise was there: real hard missions, high risk for everyone involved and the need for the pilots to coordinate complex tactics and do what seems impossible more than once. He wasn’t alone, he made good friends on that unit such as officers Ford Prefect and Jarrod. He was assigned to ferry Admiral Thrawn to an R&D facility. When they started the trip back to the mothership, a rebel force arrived. He had to scramble against several fighters. It was until the reinforcements and Grey Wolf’s escorts got the rebel’s attention when the shuttle was able to fly back to the Grey Wolf. Days later a distress call from the R&D platform was received: they were being boarded. As expected, transmission was jammed and a rescue mission as necessary. A first phase consisting on destruction of external defenses (a minefield was found) and their fighters, was launched. Araujo was leading it. It wasn’t easy but the objective was achieved. The second step in recovering the R&D consisted on the seizure itself. Araujo led an ATR group that disabled the R&D then docked and deployed troops. The Zero-G Stormtroopers followed those who left in spacesuits. Before the enemy reinforcements arrived, the Grey Wolf made it’s own arrival. After the capture Araujo was assigned to take the rebel officers in a transport to the Grey Wolf. As soon as he took off rebel reinforcements arrived. In the heat of the battle an officer threats the rebels announcing the prisoners are not in the station but on the transport Araujo was piloting! . They turned to be attacked with ions and had to run fast to the Grey Wolf. The rebels in their desperation for controlling the station launched an attack against the Grey Wolf itself, but Thrawn foresaw this and decided to bring two ships from his own fleet; the INT: Whirlwind and the L/FRG: Nighthawk. Araujo was assigned to an Escort Shuttle Group to repel the attack. He was getting used to fly/command those shuttles. The imperials identified where the attacks did come from and Araujo’s unit was sent along with the Nighthawk and the Whirlwind to eliminate a rebel cruiser assuming they didn’t send a distress call…but they did. The rebel ship escaped so Araujo couldn’t find anything there. Back to the rendezvous point his task force was intercepted by a group of enemy ships. They had to fight their way out to escape and arrive to the R&D in time. They arrived right when Thrawn was hypering out in the Grey Wolf. Nevertheless, Thrawn leaves a T/AX1 squadron to help protect the station. His thoughts turned into premonitions when minutes after his departure a numerous rebel force arrived, holding the R&D was real hard for Araujo and his forces…but they made it. Stele told Araujo the R&D was holding the data for a new project, a vessel between big fighter and small ship, some kind of bird of prey. After a strong garrison arrived to take care of the R&D, Araujo was assigned to continue on the ongoing strategic warfare. Zaarin was attacking the TIE Defender and TIE Advanced facilities to prevent the Emperor from holding this tech along with other tactical moves Araujo and Stele had to stop before they do any harm. Stele did continue and Araujo was called back to the R&D platform, there he learned about the ongoing project and how it’s more likely it’ll stop before some of the tech needed was not developed by that time. A week after his arrival, new supplies were brought to the station, but pirates were following them closely. Given the status on the operational E/S and the lack of shuttles/fighters, the commanding officer suggested someone should use the convoy crafts to defend against the pirates. Araujo volunteered to be a gunner in a corellian transport. It’s captain felt somehow better once they all managed to defeat the pirates and he told Araujo those pirates were assaulting imperial convoys quite for a while It was obvious the situation on the R&D couldn’t be held much longer. It was now a known location and the target of too many attacks… more than what could be allowed. Thrawn took the only possible way: move the assets on the facility. The convoy ships did offer to help but they were at maximum cargo capacity with the supplies. A corvette was dispatched. The commander of the station order Araujo to go with him in the corvette to supervise the repairs of the 3 remaining escort shuttles –time was of the essence- and coordinate the convoy. Araujo turned to be a temporary first officer in the ship. Once the trip started he did look forward to know more of the systems and stations of the ship and in the combat simulator learned from all the ships. Even though he have been on the sims, he found exciting to see the stations himself for real. Between hyperspace jumps (about 5) he was allowed to control some of the stations and make the jumps himself, also he helped on general and specific analysis with the sensors, help on engineering duties and he was told how the tasks were distributed to do preventive and corrective maintenance. Araujo at the end aside from making the jumps had also to navigate with the ship and take it to the hyper point plus control it on hyperspace for about two jumps. The 1st officer explained Araujo there was an interface the captain could use to give him an external perspective of the ship with a decent detail level. Aside from being too similar to the one in the sims, it gives a more direct control over the ship. The rest of the crew limits its duties to assist the captain and the computer on the repairs and carrying out the orders the captain issues through the computer. Araujo accepted test the interface, deciding to ask to be assigned to bridge duties at some ship (though he wouldn’t quit his duty as a pilot) once the incident is over. He wanted to be a starship captain, maybe a Star Destroyer captain. Once the corvette hyper out of the last jump, he could see the new station. What he couldn’t see was what was coming: Zaarin took control over the new station. Many could disagree with Araujo about how he described the situation – in fact the only one who understood him was Thrawn himself- since for him it was better to be received at blaster point. Zaarin wasn’t even interested in capturing the convoy: he wanted them destroyed. If Zaarin’s forces wished to incapacitate and/or seize the convoy ships, Zaarin would have that new tech Thrawn was still developing in his own hands…however if they are killed Thrawn loses his tech too. Nothing of this would happen. They were close because the first shots were fired while most of the convoy ships had their shields deactivated. The captain was talking to the corvette’s 1st officer on the small hangar they had the E/S still under repairs when they took a turbolaser shot that almost destroyed two of the three escort shuttles and killed six person included the captain and the former station commander. The 1st officer order to go to red alert and raise shields (remaining shield energy Araujo guessed), ordered to go 30 degrees to port to offer an undamaged surface but a second shot overloaded the bridge’s shields damaging the systems and wounding the 1st officer. Since he heard the first shot Araujo went out of his quarters and went to the bridge. When he arrived he received part of the shockwave of the second shot. Araujo was hurt and fell to the floor. Once he rose up evaluated quickly the damage and saw the 1st officer on the floor. He assisted him and helped to take him back to the captain’s bridge. The helmsman was above and Araujo told him to take evasive manoeuvres – within whatever was possible for a damaged corvette. Araujo took by instinct the weapons station. Only one of the two turrets was operational, he then set it up to automatic fire while he manually controlled the other after finding out it was the bridge deck the damaged part of the system. Seconds later the weapons station officer rose up and Araujo ordered him to take charge of the automated turret and target at any weapons emplacement on the station while he did the same with the other turret so they could lower the shields at that point. Sensors officer woke up and returned to his position. It was him who informed Araujo and the remaining bridge crewmembers that from a certain moment sine the battle begun they were alone. -“No signal of the convoy”
Either they left or they were destroyed. There was no time to answer the question. Survival was at stake. After punching the platform’s shields at one point it’d be easier to break another point so Araujo picked the missile launcher, after that was done took the other turbolaser the station was firing at them, shields on all areas of the CRV were either down to 20% or lower but the remaining laser fire was easily deflected by the remaining shield energy. Then they blind jump out of there. Weeks later. Still as a naval pilot, he flew and commanded a shuttle in a special mission: the Rneekii pirates were about to ransom the T/D scientists in exchange for the T/D tech data. Of course the imperials had plans and his friend Maarek Stele was piloting his sole escort, an assault gunboat. The Empire recovered all the lost T/D stuff after an intense -yet short- battle. Hours later, Araujo and Stele did assist to save the damaged INT: Red Claw from certain destruction in hands of Zaarin's deadly T/D Squadrons. Araujo and Stele were days later sent then to help the escaping personnel of a cargo transfer area under attack by Tarrak's forces made up mainly of T/Ds just to show their potential to the rebels. Escorting T-Wings and TIE Defenders turned to attack the two incoming imperial TIE Advanced and here Stele proved why he is one of the best imperial pilots. Araujo gave a brave fight though his craft was damaged and he was wounded; what he lacked on skill compared to Stele was compensated by his bravery and loyalty as Stele himself recognized later in the debriefing. Both were promoted in the Secret order to be the Emperor's eyes. They were recruited in there almost from the very first moment they joined Starfleet's military. Thrawn waited to Araujo to recover to send him and Stele to another mission, this time with a new craft waiting for it's baptism of fire: the Missile Boat. While recovering, Araujo did review the events at the T/D R&D facility: how a whole fighter production depended on what a couple dozens of people could do to protect the convoy. He never saw the Empire in a defensive role itself, especially in such a critical situation; despite all the mighty military it was a few men who had to work its way out to save the T/D. He knew that wasn't a good premonition and he also knew he'd have to do his utmost to protect and serve the Empire meaning he may not last much longer alive. He lost something there and felt fragile and vulnerable, he knew that soldiers like him would carry the weight of the whole Empire sooner or later and he won't let the Empire die...at least not without a fight. Those thoughts led him often to think on his own death, what turned the terror brought by death in bravery again, was his patriotism to the Empire. He was ready then to serve the Empire above all others: Life is irrelevant; death is irrelevant The Missile Boat in Araujo and Stele's hands proved to be a deadly and effective weapon. Their first mission was escort a gunboat group in an assault at Tarrka's merchant cruiser. The objective was to disable it so the Grey Wolf could capture it's assets. The seizure was carried out without anything outside normal. Araujo's missile boat took damage because of the ACMs used by Tarrak's T-Wings but he did survive and was an essential part at blocking then destroying the rebel carrack cruiser that was sent to pick the TIE Defenders. As dry as it sounds his mission coordinator just said "return to hangar for next mission". "I know , you're welcome" replied Stele in a private channel to Araujo. During the final weeks before Endor, Araujo was a part of Thrawn 's key staff. His skills as a pilot were as useful as Thrawn's tactical mind itself for the Empire's victory over many threats like Tarrak, Zaarin, etc.. At this point Araujo learned from Thrawn, turned more into the imperial doctrine and gained confidence on both his skills and the fighter he was flying: the Missile Boat. He also had confidence on the Imperial military might and Thrawn's own military genious. He didnt have a clue on what would happen. Lots of enemies of the Empire were destroyed (died, most likely) in his hands each time he flew on Tau Squadron as his own pilot log could confirm. The Secret order liked him, Thrawn had him as one of his favorites but nothing could compensate what would come. Perhaps he just felt like all other pre Endor imperials when they were so close to gain control over the galaxy. No one in the Empire fully recovered the morale after Endor. No one. When the Imperial forces led by Thrawn destroyed Tarrak's T/D factory and captured her, Stele made almost all the job , Araujo was on the bridge coordinating the battle so Thrawn's orders could be carried out. . A rebel task force arrived ready to take out the Grey Wolf shortly after the factory's destruction, perhaps they only wanted to pick up some tie defenders bought to Tarrak, perhaps not, either way Araujo had the order to take a MIS and assist Stele defending the Grey Wolf. His actions through the battle earned him a promotion on the Secret Order, a medal and a much bigger score for his log. He was now the Emperor's Voice. http://home.ripway.com/2004-11/199289/tiescreen180.jpg Now the only obstacle to destroy the Alliance was Zaarin... Thrawn's tactical moves were disrupted by Zaarin frequently with his surprise attacks. Each new mission was harder. Tactics demands to be everywhere at same time, not just random killing. Zaarin was falling in the convoy trap a first time but not the seccond time. It was a dangerouns maneouver Thrawn made and trusted too much on his pilots. A convoy that was carrying for real new missile boats was attacked by Zaarin. Thrawn was countering himself somehow for Araujo's own thoughts. Sending a more temptating target - Zaarin was obviously going for there new TIE Defender killers- a lightly defended convoy full of new missile boats. E/S Omicron led by Araujo tried hard to hold the threat of enemy assault gunboats and TIE Defenders but they used advanced missiles, Araujo's ship was the sole survival of the whole flight group. Stele arrived with two more assault gunboats as reinforcements. Stele's missile boat made the difference. While Araujo engaged the tie defenders and covered him, he charged Zaarin's arriving fleet and passed between the frigate and the carrack cruiser that flanked his flagship, the Glory. Both starships started firing at the little MIS but they were firing each other at the end. Stele then finished out the remaining enemy gunboats while Araujo's Escort shuttle and gunboats from FG Rho covered him against the TIE Defenders Zaarin was throwing at him from the Glory. Eventually he destroyed all boarding crafts preventing Zaarin from seizing the missile boats. Enemy TIE Advanceds entered the area to destroy the convoy but Thrawn's flagship, the Grey Wolf escorted by the ISD Resolution entered the area and tie interceptors joined to the battle. Stele used his remaining missiles against the tie advanceds while Araujo flew straight and shooted back at them just to provide a good target for stele. Their tactic resulted in the destruction of all tie advanceds and defenders. the two flanking ships Zaarin brought were under attack by Thrawn's tie bombers and the Glory itself was on the run. The loyal imperial forces were victorious...this time. In the aftermath the secret order acknowledged Stele and Araujo as the two new Emperor's Reach. http://home.ripway.com/2004-11/199289/tiescreen87.jpg http://home.ripway.com/2004-11/199289/tiescreen88.jpg http://home.ripway.com/2004-11/199289/tiescreen89.jpg http://home.ripway.com/2004-11/199289/tiescreen90.jpg The Hunt for Zaarin kept going, Thrawn had difficulties tracking down Zaarin as he appears to be one step ahead, Zaarin's unexpected attacks were thwarting all imperial efforts to track him down. Missions were harder and emanded the pilots to be everywhere at any time. Tactics were also more complicated and only the best officers could withstand the assignments given by Thrawn. Zaarin's strategies were perfect against standard forces, but Thrawn had two members of the secret order helping him and his new fighter to fight back Zaarin. There was a balance in power. Thrawn was forced somehow to use typical rebel moves like using few fighters against multiple enemies. The Missile Boat was perfect for this duty, it could dispatch easily even a TIE Defender as long as it held still missiles on it's launchers. Once the missiles are over it was up to the pilot's skills to survive...up to the pilot and his skills to reach the objectives and head back home in one piece. Stele and Araujo were later asigned to the ISD Garrett, Lord Vader's ship. There they performed a number of duties related to a stolen freighter carrying valuable data concerning the Empire's new death star. The rebels posed a serious tactical threat more than once and their use of ACMs didnt make it easier. Araujo 's fighter got hit many times and more than twice victory was reached over Stele's shoulders. The seccond attempt to recoverthe Dargon's prisoners was an example. Either the T/A pilots fight the A Wings or they kill the Y Wing but they die because of the AWs ACMs. While stele took the A Wings Araujo did his job with the Y Wings . It wasn't easy, the rebels played to overwhelm the imperials and Vader was overconfident in his tie avanceds. Better dying in the frontline than dissapointing Vader. They were lucky since they managed to defeat the rebel y wings and a wings. the X Wings that came to reinforce the enemy wasnt a problem. This recent events gave the imperials a feeling about the MIS performance against the rebels, problem was it couldnt be used at anytime or the rebels will get used and develop counters to it. Same goes for the imps, getting used to the Missile Boat's power could affect the pilot's performance so from time to time he must return to stanard fighters. After the Dargon ran out of trouble, the tie advanceds returned tothe Garrett. Hours later the Dargon was forced to drop at 20 km. from the Garrett possibly due to sabotage, The rebels launched a second assault to rescue their comrades. Lord Vader wanted to thrwo all ties onto the frigate before it could launch anything but Araujo suggested him a different strategy, Vader convinced gave him command over the mission, it was a risky bet but Araujo was willing to play and win by commanding the imperial forces in the area. First he told Stele's T/A squadron to engage the A Wings, T/F Beta escorting the Dargon will engage the disabling crafts , T/I Delta will reinforce Alpha in the dogfight and T/B Zeta will attack the M/FRG. Unfortunately, the rebel A Wings proved to pose a serious threat as their advanced missiles killed Stele's wingmen and FG Beta wasnt able to preventthe Y Wings from disabling the assault transport carrying the prisoners from the Dargon to the Garrett. Stele had to let the A Wings track him while he shoot two salvos to the rebel boarding craft launched shortly after the ATR was disabled. The serious problems started when 4 Xwings launched and headed towards the disabled transport to destroy it!. Stele had to dump fire on the x wings and spend all his remaining warheads , engagin the remaining a wings he saw how all ighters turned to attack the frigate following Vader's direct order... Araujo wasnt dead , no, Vader just belayed his last order so he couldwatch the brute force being applied against the rebels...but it wouldnt wor kso well on a modified frigate. after destroying the lat a wing, Stele waited and waited for the transport with the techs to repair the ATR. At the end it was operational again but right when it was closing on the Garrett tons of rebel fighters came out of nowhere at 4-5 different vectors. And Stele's fighter was the last one standing between the A Wings and the crippled ATR. Ofc. Stele stopped those rebel fighters, he saved the day many times , same goes for Araujo single handely turning events in the Empire's favor . Later missions were tactical moves to prevent rebels from being suspicious about the death star's data, force the rebels to gather even their reserves by destroying the first starships to arrive to the gathering after inspecting all of 'em. Those were just what both pilots needed to warm up and unleash their skills , the missile boats were just the vehicle for the ultimate weapon: the pilot's skills. There were problems tho, Commander Din loyal to Zaarin betrayed him and turned a MIS tothe rebels, Tau squadron saw for the first time rebel missile boats . One of them was the stolen MIS and the second one ws from an unknown source but it was there. While Vader dealed with this swiftly, Stele had the chance to intercept and destroy the Sealion the first rebel MIs and Araujo took the Hunter the second rebel MIS, this one wasnt expected to exist, perhaps someone else gave the rebels another MIS? At the end the rebel MIS treat was eliminated as well as a vast number of their fighters and ships. Due to recent events the Emperor gave the order to keep in store the remaining MIS, The main reason was also Zaarin's destruction of the all imperial MIS facilities. This bring us into the final stage of this campaign. Thrawn had his plan set up but he needed Araujo and Stele along with a few pilots, he reassigned 'em all to a TIE Advanced Squadron , Alpha. Thrawn gave wrong info about the Vorknkx project, Zarin took that info along with the corvette , typical of Thrawn , no officer aboard the Grey Wolf expected the robery of the Vorknkx to be part of his plans. At one critical moment Araujo's fighter was hit and had yet two tie defenders aiming at him he couldnt run or it'll allow the TDs to track him down to shoot ACMs . reinforcements were defeated already and stele was quite busy somewhere else fighting dozens of assault transports. Then the Allende arrived to protect him,Hidalgo herself was leading the ship, she quickly launched T/A Iota (Miranda's sqaudron) to assist . Miranda got rid of the tie defenders then assisted Stele while Araujo took cover under the Allende's belly as tugs repaired his ship. At later stages Alpha Squadron had to fight TIE Defenders armed with ACMs, partially, they could play the MIS tactic with the tractor beams but at the edn they had to use lasers on the remaining T/Ds, outnumbered and outgunned, the loyal imperial forces gave a brave fight against the elite squadrons of traitor ex admiral Zaarin. On the last battle Thrawn had the Vorknkx tracked down thanks to a tracking device and he used the INT Corvus along with his fleet to force Zaarin to directly fight him, Thrawn's ship, the Grey Wolf protected the Corvus while Ebolo and Daring ledthe battle, as Alpha Squadron fought the TIE Defenders ( a desperate fight), the two strike cruiers slowly died under the firepower of an ISD and several TD units bombarind them, Ebolo and Daring claimed to fight to the death anyway, despite their shields were down and hull critical, they fought to death... Araujo saw'em exploding... loyal imperials just died, but he could feel tears in his eyes ....not for sadness but for glory ... it's schcking to see it...that's a leson he could never forget, he hear once it on the holonet... "those special medals are for thosewho risk their lives and are willing to sacrifice serve the Empire". It wasn't just mere words... He just saw what he 'd need for the upcoming days, the knowledge the Empire was a cause worth of dedication, worth of serving...worth of sacrifice he then truly understood the meaning of the secret order's quote just that he could hear it slightly different , not for Palpatine himself but as for what he created. "Serve the Empire above all others". This just gave wood and Araujo full of patriotism used his missiles to burn out the Glory's warhead launcher , "what are you doing?" Stele asked "the Empire will prevail today Stele, I can feel it" Araujo countered. he used lasers on the fast moving tie defenders and held 'em long enough to Alpha Squadron to engage the Glory, after he finished three of the tie defenders the two others left and hyper out ofthe area. Araujo turnedto charge the Glory but it was almost knocked down so he just gave the final shot and saw it exploding , an escaping Corvette had Zaarin within it's hull but later the Corvette exploded when hypering out...so Zaarin was dead...Thrawn's plan worked, Zaarin thought he could use the cloacking devide while going to hyperspace ... The Empire was victorious. All what was left is to wait for the words on Endor's outcome, meanwhile Araujo was notified of a yet new upgrade on the systems and that after this battle is done they'll upgrade their fighters, he went to the new combat chamber and noticed now the systems were holographic heads on displays, laser pulse speed was updated and laser convergence was added to fighters, he didnt truly liked the new interface tho the laser speed was badly needed. The moment of expectation, full readiness, campaign finished, waiting for victorious outcome somewhere else, confident in destiny... deceptions are nothing but painful. Thrawn's forces were waiting on the results at Endor, Thrawn'd finish the last remnants of the rebellion after the majority of their forces were blown on the final battle. The final step to consolidate the New Order... It was meant to be that way...and much more. Have you ever been waiting for something then realize the worst thing just happened, something incredible wrong that you never expected to be?... Endor will be a word to describe such feelins, The beginning of a loong road to death for the Empire. One battle, one battle was enough to turn the greatest Empire of all history into chaos and anarchy. It's hard to describe with words all the sadness and delusion, those are not even the right words to describe it, from being willing and be able to kill as many enemies of the Empire as possible for just a plain mortal to being afraid of murder in rebel hands...from the glory of being wounded or possibly die in enemy hands serving the Emperor to be afraid and cowardly running, they all lost something there, maybe the sense of inmortality , a special kind given by the Empire itself, they might die but the Empire would prevail...now they're all what is left of their dreams. Pride was lost too, arrogance and more pride, all lost. No one prepared them for this, no one...no military training woul be enough, no Secret Order words, no nothing ... Nothing, all what was left is nothing. The Empire was not prepared for it's Emperor's dead , despite the great organization and the protocols, it wasnt a matter of phisical strenght it was about being lost for it's first time, like one briefing officer said once "Palpatine IS the Empire"... This was shocking for all imperials, the loss of their beloved Emperor, the respected and feared Lord Darth Vader and the Death Star...again not to mention the loss of the best ships on the Starfleet and the suppresion at Endor Moon of the shield generator, it was all a shame and pain....a wound all imperials will carry...forever. Thrawn sent Araujo to Endor to receive info there he only saw debris and some pilots in spacesuits floating around in the vacuum. Thrawn was alive, all officers and soldiers under his command admired him and apreciated him like a father , a leader, a commander. Thrawn was still alive not everything was lost for Araujo, perhaps others had same thoughts , perhaps not. On the next several days Thrawn started some tactical movements not even caring for who was in command now of the imperial forces, he protected valuable tecnology, gathered ships recruited personnel and made arangements with Admiral Hidalgo. Araujo was one of those arrangements. From this moment he'd start working with his oldfriends once again, chapter closed and something new was starting. At first the post Endor missions were chaotic, skirmishes and dogfights mostly where the rebels fough with a strenght never seen before. Araujo and his mates transfered to the base 92X and escorted the other units transfering as well. One day one of those escort missions was suddenly interrupted by a distress call. It was the Chimaera, it was under attack. As soon as Thrawn left it, the rebels hyper in and begun launcing y wings and x wings. Araujo's forces arrived, but they found one x wing along fighting the other rebels. It was a rebel defector, actually two of 'em one was in the x wing's cargo bay. After the x wing's asylum request was acepted - Araujo assumed all responsability- they found off back to the base it was Laila and her sister Janet. That was a surprise to Araujo his lost girlfirned back as a rebel pilot defecting to imperial forces mainly because it were her parents who forced her to join the rebellion, she wanted to be imperial. Doesn't matter, they're togheter now. Laila informed Araujo his old enemy, Elio Zapata, was now an important alliance commander and he is more and more power hungry, obsesed with the Empire - he became mad with the idea shortly after I joined the rebellion- Laila said. Araujo took the news to Admiral Hidalgo, she knew Zapata and knew he could be a dangerous threat so they hadto act quickly because he and his rebel fleet were on Hidalgo's sector. Time passed, despite the loses Araujo was somehow happy: from her little corner of imperial territory, Admiral Hidalgo was figting back the rebels and Araujo was a part of that war effort. He had Laila with him plus he was serving along with his best friends. for a while he could feel endor was just a temporal setback , he had the strenght needed to revive the Empire. His beloved one, Laila was captured while she was on an espionage mission. Thanks to intelligence work and some tactics Hidalgo used, she was located inside Zapata's command base, a standard rebel base. The rescue should not be a problem. Araujo himself led the gunboats who would disable the station, after this was done, Zapata launched a shuttle to escape along with Laila Araujo turned to engage to disable the shuttle when out of nowhere two huge, odd looking unknown ships entered the area just to fire a beam onto the shuttle. It exploded. Suddenly it was all over .... no survivors, life suddenly was filled up with sadness, a deep pain , there was no light inside Araujo's heart...no nothing...and the Empire. It's hard to describe but somehow things must go on, life will continue....Araujo got over the fact Laila was gone and in the next years served Hiunder dalgo's fleet sometimes fighting warlords , sometimes fighting new republic forces and sometimes being reassigned to help Isard fight more warlords and rebels. The Empire was dying, divided more and more and backing off from the growing new republic, new rep pilots had morale, armament, training and skills (savefor the new ones)...yet all forces under Hidalgo's command, like the protectors of a lost cause, keep the fight keeping up the morale, having more skills and sometimes better luck than the rebels themselves. Araujo was no exception to this rule tho at some point he thought this must come to an end.....the mpire must counterattack...but the warlords prevented this with their childish fights....yet he found their position quite an interesting irony: the right and perfect style of the Empire twisted like physics are twisted as you close into a black hole, more and more pompous titles yet void of anything needed to backthem up, buildings were more and more decorated like trying to revive the lost glory...but the lost glory just wasnt like that....then Araujo realized each one of those had different views on the Empire....worse than being init for profit, they thought it was only for profit....yet they were the last line of defense the Empire had.....there was no Imperial Starfleet anymore just chaos....a different type of darkness than the one Araujo wanted. But he forgot there was his commander, Admiral Hidalgo and his former commander: Grand Admiral Thrawn, yes Thrawn, he hasnt returned from the unknown regions ...he hasnt played his role in this chaos the galaxy has become...yet...Araujo gained a lot of confidence in Thrawn to the pint he saw him somehow like an exemplary officer, like a father protecting even the lowest rank officer from death unless neccesary. yes, the rebels will have to deal with him.... Fortunately for Araujo Thrawn did return a few months later, as soon as h was told, he went to request transfer to his fleet, it wasnt needed tho, Thrawn himself asked to gather all his surviving pilots ...unfortunately his old friend , Stele wasnt there....but he met some other pilots , some were former officers of his fleet, some others went with his brand new task force and some others were just slected because they were decent pilots with good skills. ---to be continued---

Personal View of the Empire and EH: The Empire is the legal goverment, the rest are just factions, mere fragments, one day they should all reunite under the original imperial standards.

Reason for enlisting in the EH: the most organized and active imperial faction, close to what the Empire used to be.
