Welcome to Wing XIX report number 17. Let's start straight off with the news...

As first point of news, a big welcome to SL Luciaus who joined Trapper and was already promoted to LT for
good activity. I hope you'll have lots of fun here with us on the SSD Avenger.

On another note, the Wing competition called 'Lightspeed Reflexes' has ended. The winner was LCM Matt Dante, with
LCM Golbez Harvey as runner-up. Both have earned a nice Iron Star. Thanks to them and all others for participating.

Moreover, I'd like to remind you of BGCOM's Judgment (http://bj.eh-atf.net/) which pits Wing XIX versus Wing XVIII.
Wouldn't it be fun to win once more? Just try it out, if you haven't already. Any help brings us closer to victory.
Submissions should be in before the 31th of June at 23.59 GMT, also known as 'the end of the month' ;). That's 5 days.

Finally, I have seen excellent activity in the Wing during the last few months and I am very proud of this. Hopefully,
you're all having as much fun as I have. Keep up the good work!

Wing and ATF news:

• The Wargame ImpStorm (http://www.btinternet.com/~spellfire/wo1.html) is continuing. We recaptured the planet
  Korriban from Sith forces, yet had to abandon Telos. The next turns will hopefully show some intense battles.
• Needed quickly: someone knowledgable in XWA Skirmishes to assist ATF ImpStorm assistants. Send a mail to BGCOM
  TK-2107 (tk2107@tiecorps.org) if you can help.
• COM Kane Reese is on leave until tomorrow.
• Spectre CMDR is open for applications.
• Congratulations to LT Luciaus, LT Garza and CM Aglen on their promotions.
• COL Davi Anthol won the ATF Trivia, that was held today at #atf around 21.00h GMT+1, and broke CM Darky's winning streak.
• Our friends in Wing XVIII are badly in need of new pilots. Although in the short-term their apparent weakness may
  look profitable, it really isn't. Try to recruit and also point them to XVIII. They deserve some help.
• Multiplayer activity is up in both the Wing and battlegroup. If you're interested in playing a game, don't hesitate to go to
  IRC and join #atf for a quick match in any TC-approved game.
• BGCOM's Judgment is waiting for your participation. Can we continue the winning streak and get the title a 3rd time?
• CM Torrance Darkcrest is on leave. LCM Golbez Harvey serves as Fury's acting-CMDR.

• Free Worlds will now be played on Gumba & Zaccarascrow's server, whose forums are located here.
  This is a new start for all FW players with new tags and new players. Refer to the TC page for detailed information.
• The War Officer has written a short summary of the actions in ImpStorm up until now. An interesting read.
• New missions and battles: XWA-F#123, XWA-TC#49, XvT-F#192 (by CPT Daar Skeloria of Chaos), 193,
  TIE-F#257 (by LT Theodore Bronson of Chaos Squadron).
• Wing X has been selected as TCCOM's Own. Congratulations to them.
• PREX Khadgar and SO Vladet Xavier promoted to Fleet Admiral.
• The XO is on leave for a week.
• Hemi has been appointed as the new Hammer's Fist Prefect.
• The TO is looking for people knowledgeable in SWGB mission creation and is developing a mentorship program.
