Finally the new version of the beta is here! And almost as importantly, I'm done with the uni for this year, so I'll have more time for this. :)

With this new beta activity will rise again, those who can't keep up will be replaced. This is the moment we all signed up for, the real testing of a new platform.

Wing News

New beta version

As everyone should know by now the new beta has been released. If you didn't receive the mail with the info on how to get it contact me immediately.

This new beta version brings much more than just a few bug fixes. We now have a complete set of real missions and not just something thrown together to test one thing or another. These new missions will need testing, more on that further down.

The multiplayer part is also reputed to be working, last I heard you needed a separate exe to fly it. But that might have changed by now, stay tuned for further news in this area, soon we'll be blasting each other out of space in real time. ;)

Mission testing

It's time for us to start earning out keep. The new missions needs to be tested and test them we will.

As Ender already has said we're going to do it the standard TAC way, but since we're dealing with a experimental platform you can expect somewhat higher rewards for good testing. ;)

This week we'll start slow, only one mission per group, but next week we'll rais the standard and go full out with four to five mission per group. Each of you will get assigned a mission (three pilots per mission, each pilot has to test it though), which you'll have a week to test. Failure to hand in a report after the week is up without a real good reason will result in your removal from the beta, we need active testers.

If you complete your assignment early and wants to do something else you can choose one of the other missions assigned to other pilots and test that one (the pilots originally assigned to the mission still has to test it though). This will of course gain you higher rewards.

BG Meetings

I'm afraid that I wasn't on the last BG meeting, nor the TC meeting. But I heard they were great.

DETAILS

Weekly BG meeting in #TCBG on IRC each Sunday at 11:00 pm GMT (6:00 pm EST). Attendance is not mandatory in any ways but it might be a good way to get a feeling of what's happening in the BG and get to know pilots from other ships.

After the meeting there'll be trivia with medals awarded to the winners.

The Status of the ISD Immortal

We now have the new release and is working on finding new and intresting bugs. With this and the mission testing we'll have plenty to do in the comming weeks
