Slow week for some, better for others. We've grabbed a new pilot, and Powerslave has awoken from his slumber :P but the wing has lost another member dueto rDB ties, while a few of us, and you know who you are, remain inactive.
SQUADRON NEWS

1. Trailing
The TCBG is trailing, but gaining points, in ISV - we may not win but we'll go down showing them hell :P
2. Comps ended
Squadron competitions are over, with Jonas and Powerslave tying for first place in the trivia comp (Face to Face). The fiction comp was very poorly subscribed too, and at this point it appears that my brother's pathetic 150 word entry must be judged the winner... thanks guys... for shame!
3. New Pilot!
Welcome to our newest pilot, CM Aragorn coming to Shield 1-3 from the reserves. I'm sure you'll all make him feel welcome here, on the ship he started from way back in 2000.

Recruitment Banner Comp
Make a banner (or better yet, template) that I can use to send recruitment emails. We want to take our recruiting to the next level, and I think sending flashy recruitment emails with some GFX can help. The rules are: keep it appropriate, try to have a "strength in unity" theme, and most of all KEEP THE SIZES SMALL. I'll get in trouble if I spam people with very large files :P
Email Wars
This is a comp to stimulate communications. Most points at the end of may wins. You get points by: 3 points for starting a new thread over the wing group, 2 for starting one over the squad group. These emails should be at least a paragraph, and have some substance. 1 point per reply to any of these emails. 2 points for starting a new (substantive) thread on the Wing message board, 1 point per reply. 1/2 point every time I (randomly) see you talking on IRC. If I've left out any comm forms, let me know, and I'll come up with points for them.
Current stats unknown, still not too late to join in and win!
Face to Face photos have been dispatched, so answers to me by the next wsr, same goes for the fiction - any humorous theme will be accepted.
