This week in Alpha
Cube made Hussar! Excellent work! Something has happened. Gunman lost points. He is down some 34 points in his FCHG. Did I make a mistake? Did something in the d-base die? Interesting. It could be the high scores being pre-empted. Sorry about it.

We have a new member of the team! That makes us 8 Alphas! Welcome Lieutenant Reiss. He hit us on Monday the 6th, was promoted later that day and suprised our leaders!

We have secured a new web site host from the UK. I asked for everyone's opinion on changing to this new site and have recieved only 1 other person's vote. I will initiate transfer to the new site this coming week and will change everything over by the end of the month. I just need to get the new site log-in page and passwords again. I have misplaced them and am not sure what I named the darned thing. Send them to me privately so not everyone will see the info.

With the new pilots, we have 8 members and are looking great. It seems, though, that most of us can fly XWA easier. As far as flying TIE95 on the new systems, there is a compatability file put out for use in 2k and XP. If you need this file, ask me and I will send the 2k patch file and it should work on the XP system also.

Squadron Orders
Get these missions flown!
TC 7, 175
TF 8 through 14 (the Ronin files)
TF 208

TC 175 (Escape from Coruscant) and Free TIE 208 (Talons' first patrol) are not in our citations. The others are our original Grand Admiral's created files. Let us get these done, folks. Remember you can fly any platform available for FCHG points regardless of what training company you originated from. I started in TIE95 and have flown XvT and XWA. Let us show what Alpha is capable of. I am hoping to fly TC 25-30 this week if I can stay cool enough to be comfortable.

Squadron Concerns
Neale, touch base with me and Kahooli. As flight leaders, I want communication between each of us. This includes monthly flight reports sent to each of us and talk between us for competition ideas, challenges, problems between the flights, members, and each other. We are in command of this squadron and I would hate to bring the hammer down and force a rigid structure. As everyone knows, I have no fear of the Airlock. Talk to me. If you feel you are not able to continue as a flight leader or member of this squadron, let me know. I am very understanding, but silence is not good. We may all be Silencers, but that does not mean we are silent to each other.

Commander's Rant
Whom shall we assassinate? Let me think. ??? ??? ??? There is one I am considering. If you think you are on the chopping block, report in to your superiors (flight leader and myself).

Final Words
I would like to have it noted that my competition for Alpha banner has been approved. Details are as follows:

Competition Name/Title Alpha needs a new banner
Start Date (mm/dd/yy) 6/6/2005
End Date (mm/dd/yy) 6/30/2005
Parties Involved Wing I
Missions/Battles Used None
Medals to be Awarded IS-BR for the winner.
Miscellaneous Information Create the new Alpha Squadron banner. Must include the motto and squadron Nickname, and a Wing and Ship reference

As noted, this is for the entire wing. Artists, get to work!

Look at the roster everyone. This has our entire standings and FCHG points listed. I know it seems to be just another boring report from your commanders but note that these reports impart information to us all. Read these here or on line in the squadron reports.

With all respect,

Major Talons Pryde, Alpha Squadron commander of Wing I on board the Sovereign class SuperStar Destroyer Sovereign, reporting.
