First, I would like to thank Fleet Commander Astatine and Grand Admiral Ronin for selecting me to the position of Executive Officer of the Fleet. I will do everything in my power to honor their trust and build on our already great club.
Second, prior to detailing my future plans, I would like to hand out three Executive Awards. The first award is a Gold Star to Dark Prince Tuss. Tuss has done an outstanding job working to promote better relations between the BHG and the EH. I look forward to building a strong relationship with him and the BHG. My second award, is also to a member of the BHG. I am awarding (Through the Dark Prince) a Gold Plate to Judicator Slowbacca. Slowbacca is an great member of the BHG has is also a great member of the EH. He has performed tasks for me in the past simply because he wanted to help out. My final award is a Silver Star to General Nightmare of Avenger Squadron. Nightmare is being awarded for his several months of hosting "Hero Radio" where he has mostly entertained and seldom annoyed his audiences. This award is in recognition of an EH member who goes out of his way to do the little things to make this club a more entertaining place. Great work Nighty!
Now, my immediate plans:
1. I have secured a contract with the Corporate Division to begin publishing the EH Newsletter. Admiral Khadgar has sent out emails to the Subgroup Commanders and Command Staff detailing the participation I want each and everyone of you to have in the newsletter. Our newsletters are a portal of information and I want each subgroup to participate in making the "new newsletter" a success.
2. I have read over and approved the Security Officers new EH Judicial System. The system is roughly based on a military court martial system. Final approval is needed from the Fleet Commander and then we can re-establish our court systems!
3. I will begin to push the Subgroups to interact more with one another. I want to see more events where the BHG faces the ID, or the EHDB faces the TC. The purpose of our club is to have fun, and I want to see more interaction of our subgroups and more pride in the fact that we are the best damn Star Wars club on the internet.
4. I will strive to steamline the decision making process that has been a tad slow as of late. I think we make a mistake when we fall into a beauracracy that takes months and months to approve something.
5. I am currently looking to re-establish the Executive Orders. A few of them have recently been igored and I plan to enforce them once again :p
6. And finally I will have fun and do whatever I can to make sure others have fun. I joined the EH to have a good time and it has given me an opportunity to meet many people I would of never had a chance to meet. Ive met Italian, Polish, Dutch, Canadian, Australian, and Americans from all over the world, and its all due to the Emperor's Hammer. I am thankful for that and for the club.
I am an easy going guy and I've known the majority of the Command Staff and Subgroup Commanders for years, I think our friendships and knowledge of one another will help make my time as XO successful.
(Oh yeah, I also owe a lot of thanks to Ast, Cyric, Pri, Khad, Joe, Rein, Kaerner, Dax, Vlad, Joey, Yoda, Choosey, Gilad, Frodes, Nighty, and Ender for helping me throughout my career :p)
