Keiran's stories

"Home at last!" - Keiran said and looked at his old CMDR's office. At the begining he didn't recognize it. It was all dirty and dusty. A chair with broken leg laid on the floor. A large pink grafitti saying "GWSOoM Secret Room for Secret Rituals" was on the wall. Old Vortex Squadron logo was eaten by mynocks and one of the creatures lied under his legs dead. Also there was a mark of a blaster shot on the ceiling. Very odd. 

It seemed that no Vortex CMDR used this office after Keiran resigned. They must have had used other rooms. It also seemed that his personal quaters were used for the worst things human brain can imagine. And why are those Ewok clothes all around??? That's not understandable.

"Sir! Sir!" - mechanical voice was heard behind Keiran's back breaking his thoughts. It was Keiran's personal droid - O2. Corellian pilot used him to fill some of the requests, submission forms, reports and other paperwork while Keiran had others thing to do. The droid seemed to enjoy his duties, he never complained and his mentaince wasn't too expensive. Or maybe it was all about his programming.

"Sir! Oh! What a mess! It's really your old office, sir? Must be..." - O2 catched his head - "Master Keiran, As I know your attitude there are 1:250 odds that you will not step into this room at it's present state."

"Well, you're somehow right O2." - Keiran said. That was true. Keiran had some stricted rules. He hated mess, he felt disgusted about the room. And what's more important he had a droid which had something like instincts. Instincts and the best cleaning programmes available. 

"Clean this mess up and after that we'll be able to put my model collection into old places. You know where to seek me O2." - Keiran said and walked away with a pleasant feeling after taking first few steps. As he walked down the corridor he closed his eyes and counted the steps. He knew every corner at the way he just went. His lips were moving and a smile appeared into his face. "...34, 35, 36 ,37... turn left.... 14, 15, turbolift...third button from the bottom.... ETA 3 sec,2 , 1 ding!... now just a few steps right and finally!!!" He opened his eyes. And suprisingly he didn't appear to be where he wanted to. The place looked like a cantina. Another crappy cantina around. Pilots, crewmen and engineers were drinking and chit chatting. He walked to the bartender and asked:

"Erm.. What's up?" - the bartender stopped to clean the glasses and turned to Keiran.

"As always, boredom and drinks, Keptin. Would you like one?"

"Well yes, and a bit of information. Give me a glass of orange juice, please"

"Excuse me, sir but actually we're out of stock" - the bartender said - "What data do you need? I've got everything about the Command Staff, Twi'lek slaves, newest boozie around..."

"Where is the simulator chamber?" - keiran asked with lots of hope in his voice.

"Simu-what? Excuse me we're out of stock of this... Please pick up a less exotic drink. We've got beer, and um... yeah... Eventually I can prepare...

Keiran didn't wanted to listen. He turned on his feet and run away to find a map. It wasn't exacly the same Grey Wolf he left. Unfortunately. He needed to improve his piloting skills at once! Now! It was CMDR's duty!

Well, hello Vortex Squadron! This is your new squadron Commander reporting! I've just moved into my office. O2 is still finishing the clean up operation ;) And guess what! I've found the way to the simulator chamber and finally got first BSFs submitted. You'd love the feeling of happinees after a finished XWA battle in which you'd be mentioned (I am mentioned in the XWA-TC 46 for example. Thanks Choosh). But first things first. I feel a bit confused by the changes all around the fleet, yet. The roster changes are quite interesting. Almost every GWSOoMer is now CS and that's scary :P. But! I have my own field of duty which is my beloved squadron. As a new CMDR in the Vortex I would like to buy everybody a drink for a good begining in the newest cantina. Drinks on me! Expect some changes in the nearest future. New competitions are coming! And now let's proceed to the news...

What's up?

- Fleet

1. The biggest SW convent - Celebration III - was held in Indianapolis. Unfortunately I live in Poland and I couldn't even think of attending. The whole idea rocks in my opinion. Star Wars fans in US did really great job with the CelIII. We had our own piece of ground there. Great opportunity for the EH! Reconnesance Office I salute you for representing my beloved club there.

2. Speaking of RO - AD Joe got promoted to Fleet Admiral and was awarded a prestigious Medal of Honor for the job he did. Well earned. Also nobody should forget about COL Jan Wemmel who helped FA Joe much. 

3. Training Office reminds:

4. Tactical Office says: "Iron Mission Creator Competition is in it's final phase". Still no one I know is involved... But I'd always use a good mission.

5. And also Combat Operations Officer works. Unfortunately the competition mentioned in his post is over.

7. SquadFirst 2.0.5v is out. What the hell is that thingy anyway? 

8. Revenge of the Sith is coming. I've got my 0:01 premiere tickets. Do you have yours?

ASF/Ship/Wing

1. There were some changes in ASF lately so I'll post them just to be sure You know everyting :P

a). The new BattleGroup Commander (BGCOM) is VA Gidda. But that's not as scary as CSness of GWSOoM.

b). The new Commodore (COM) is RA CrimsonFury. Cool guy as I remember. Always answered to my "Hi" at the channel :P

c). The new Wing Commander (WC) is LC Ambar Kilick. Yeah! exVortex CMDR and Gilad's Pellaeon mate. He joined the squadron under my command so I can say I rised him :P. Way to Go Ambar!

2. Odin squadron CMDR missing. Feel free to apply. Odin was a great squad as i remember! Sombody needs to reanimate it.

3. Also Phoenix is looking for a Commander. This was an unlucky squadron. Fighting with small roster and lack of CMDR. Bah. They really need     fresh blood.

1. Of course the greatest news is that the newest CMDR is CPT Keiran Laserlight who is just another insane maniac Pole. Drinks on him. 

2. I had a really busy week in my CMDR duties. First of all we've got a brand new forums. Go report in now at http://mb.emperorshammer.net/viewforum.php?f=96   

3. I've began the recovery of our website. I mailed the webmaster CPT Tiamat for the access. If that won't work I'll try to ask if LC Kilick can do something. If that won't do the job we'll need a new site.

4. I've sent some communications to all of you. I've received replay messages from 60% of the squadron. That's good for a good start.

5. Give me a note of any activity you'll take. If I won't know about it I won't be able to reward it.

6. Competitions coming. Be ready.
