Wing XIII Wing Report #9

Hey all, so sorry this is so late, completely forgot about it. Long weekend over here and I've been looking after my nephew's on and off, I also played Sid Meier's Pirates just about all day yesterday, great fun if your into that kinda thing! Anyway, quiet week again in lieu of the Supremacy Comp, with celebrations still rampant. We've also got even more to celebrate with some medals finally coming through! Read on!

Fleet News;
- Last week SCO Ender called for some voice actors for Imperial Alliance. If anyone is interested in getting their southern drawl or aussie slang voices into IA....more details can be found at http://mb.emperorshammer.net/viewtopic.php?t=983. As far as I know there is still need for voices.
- VA Lenvik let us know that he cant do anything minos.net hosting wise, and also that the stardestroyer.org and squadron.org domains have expired. If squadron sites were on this, I believe you will have to organise either alternative means to host or transfer to a minos.net or tiecorps.net domain.

- It didn't take long for the ATF boys and girls to find a new SSD Avenger COM, and our congrats go to Kane Reese. This now means Wing XIX has an open Wing Commander spot and the COM is accepting applications.
- In a very disappointing bit of news, Cyric and the ATF Flags decided to close the ISD Subjugator. Unfortunately due to fledging numbers in recent times, the closure was made in the best interests of the ATF. And anyway....it's not like they're short of room on an SSD now is it? ;)
- There are still quite a few IWATS Professor positions open....please email VA Stuart at to@emperorshammer.org if you are interested in one of them. More details on what to include in his news post.
- Cyric has also alerted us to a problem with stmp.wp.pl servers bouncing emails sent from emperorshammer.org, hopefully this will be sorted out with some of the people on those servers, but if this includes you, see what you can do about your/your ISP spam filtering.
- February's Mission Creation Incentive winners were announced on Wednesday, congrats to VA Gidda (frees) and MAJ Chris Cox (missions).
- The position of ISD Relentless COM is now open due to the departure of RA Jarek La'an, and ISD Colossus COM has been filled with WC Angel being promoted to RA/COM. Congrats to Angel!
- Joey also announced this week that all Squadron/Wing/Ship/Subgroup channels must be registered with cservice. Check out his news post on how to register. As far as I know all ASF channels are registered, so we dont have to worry about this I included it FYI.
- ANOTHER flag spot is open in the fleet, with the position of Wing VIII WC open. Applications are being accepted if your interested.
- Now it's a CS spot.....the position of Logistics Officer (LO) is now open for applications. The applications are subject to the usual guidelines....you all should have seen one of Ast's CS news posts by now on what you need to include in your app.
- Sadly, another higher up retirement this week, with the CA:FO AD Reaper retiring from his position. Applications are not being accepted by Cyric for another CA:FO.

Wing News;
- Again, I'd like to remind everyone of my note last week on membership of the ship's yahoogroup. I will have another look this week, but I've not heard from anyone as to their not being on the list, so if you receive this direct and not through the yahoogroup...please let me know.
- Unfortunately, as is sometimes the case, we've lost a few members of this great ship in the past week, with the departure of CM Magnus Vader and long serving member LC Kodiak Kereban transferring to RSV. Good luck in future endeavours guys and we hope to see you back here soon!
- Due to these 2 departures and the recent promotion of Lenvik, we've now dropped to 40 members. Lets see if we cant recruit a few new or old faces and get back up towards 45-50 eh?
- In the wake of SC, there is one thing you can be sure of (and no I dont mean parties!), I mean MEDALS! Congrats to all recipients of shiny MSE medals. To see who got what, read the 'Medals' section of this report!

- No doubt more Battlegroup comps coming soon, and I definitely have some competitions in the works. Stay Tuned!
