Welcome one and all to another
week of reporting. Exciting, no? Yeah, I thought not.
-=News=-
1) The 2005 Long Service Awards Audit has begun,
under my own supervision. As I mentioned earlier in the week, I noted that alot
of people were missing LsA's and I asked for anyone who fell into this category
to send me an e-mail listing their name (ID Lines are acceptable, yes), join
date (or SSBTC Completion dates, for anyone who is unsure of their exact join
date), and PIN number. I have completed all the awarding of the LsA's I've
received thus far -- anyone in that group missing an LsA, please notify me in
writing ASAP! -- and I'd ask all of you who have not yet responded to please
make sure your profile is up to date.
Note: Wil, I updated your join
date, as well.
2) A whole schwack of recruits were assigned this
week, to various Detachments. I must say, I'm quite pleased with the influx of
new blood -- especially considering the majority were assigned to the
Multiplayer Detachment! Welcome aboard, everyone!
3) CSMA Inbox! I cleaned it out myself this past
week, after an amazing backload had piled up. My personal apologies to everyone
who's test went ungraded... I would have done so sooner, had I realized there
was a new e-mail address. I believe Boliv is now fully on the task, and Sirik
has finally returned to us, so this should not be happening again. Anyone
missing a grade should contact the CSMA Staff ASAP.
4) All items, medals and promotions pending in
the database have been approved. Congratulations to Janus Praij on his promotion
[So soon!] to Lance Corporal, as well as to all the LsA Recipients!
5) Operation: Cold Harbor is in full swing on the
message boards! The roleplaying aspect is progressing quite well, but I'd still
like to see a few more people out to play. I hope you multiplayer guys are
keeping active amongst eachother and reporting your matches to the organizers!
Dante's team has shipped out for the preliminary recce, so the rest of you
should stay frosty - no pun intended - and be ready to launch at a moment's
notice.
6) Vengeance DC. I am still in
need of a suitable officer candidate to run the Multiplayer detachment, folks.
Please send applications to Narthax and myself post haste... all applications
will be considered, I assure you, regardless of rank. Outline your skills,
qualifications and plans for the position and we'll hopefully be able to
announce the new DC in next week's report.
7) I'll be getting in contact with Scrier
this week, hopefully to conclude this messy and long-past due business of the
Intel Liaison.
8) I have this horrible sensation that I've
forgotten something, though I can't imagine what it might be. Anyone who knows,
please inform your dear Prefect ASAP. :P
