SSD 'Avenger' COMMODORE'S LOG

6.3.05 Imperial Calendar

Avenger and its task force are currently orbiting of Eos in Aurora System awaiting new orders while taking all necessary resupllies and reinforcements.

With sadness we've farewell ISDII Subjugator, who gone for Kuat for necessary upgrades and rebuilds, but I'm very satisfied to see all non-skeleton crew integrated already on aboard Avenger.

During our standard protecting duty in Aurora in past week, Wing XVIII had been assigned to defensive duty and aside incident when Hunter needed to return fire and then disable smuggler's freighter all was going nicely. Wing XIX at this time was used in the offensive action:  Fury Squadron took part into small operation of Security Force defeating pirate flotilla and Trapper, in person of COL Astix was involved into small dogfight outside passage liner.

(is someone here is wondering were is that came from the answer is - it's my free adaptation of individual's/squadron's/wing's activity I've seen)

SSD 'Avenger' STATUS

Greetings Avenger crew,

Passing week came with many big news and changes.

Most of them you already know if not please read the news below carefully.

Right now we are still sorting things up but I'm very happy to see Avenger very alive with all the movement around. It is obvious that we are moving into right direction as immediately after closing Subjugator we are opening new squadron within Avenger wings - this is very good sign for the future of ATF and might be a good omen for returning Subjugator earlier then expected.

Right now however we can't afford to slow down and celebrate.

Recruiting is still crucial to ATF as we still have some empty space to fill in.

For that I appointed LC Mouse Droid as Recruiting Officer who help us all to aim our efforts into right direction and will coordinate them. But I expect that you all help him, help us all into getting new people. Some good advices for that were already posted by BGCOM via egroup and few ideas are being worked over even in that very moment.

On the other side I encourage you to participate in competitions to build up activity, I encourage you to being interested into your squadron, your wing and your ship. And above all don't hesitate to share with us all your opinions and ideas - if there is something that could work into our advantage, put as above others in TC or/and be a fun I'm willing to give it a try. And only this way we can assure stability of ATF and turning it into place new people will like to stay and will be attracted to.

SSD 'Avenger' NET HIGHLIGHTS

v      I was appointed as new Commodore of SSD Avenger.

v      ISDII Subjugator was send to Kuat on needed repairs and upgrades. All non-skeleton crew has been moved on aboard Avenger.

v      Former Wing XX Kraken Squadron became Rage Squadron of Wing XVIII and Nemesis Squadron became Chaos Squadron of Wing XIX.

v      New Wing XIX Commander was appointed - congratulations to LC Mouse Droid.

v      New Hunter Squadron CMDR appointed - once again CM Von Predator will have chance to lead Hunters

v      Spectre Squadron has been reopened. On its CMDR LC Daniel Goad was appointed. Congratulations.

v      Avenger Recruiting Officer was appointed to coordinate the efforts of Avenger crew in getting new members - LC Mouse Droid.

v      New FreeWorld ladder is created for ATF members. Check it.

v      LC Adrijas is the winner of February's FW ladder. Congratulations.

v      MSE/MWE time. Medals requests passed through my desk and soon you all should receive reward for your efforts.

v      SSD Avenger: Email Wars - new Avenger-wide competition is about to start.

v      February BGCOM Judgment results are out - Wing XX won. Well done. 

v      Avenger has new nickname - Angel of Sorrow.

v      Trapper Squadron had slightly changed their motto to Failure is not an option, nor is mercy!

v      Butcher Squadron has new homepage.

v      New Avenger-wide competition coming - Avenger's Darkness: Dark Queen.

6.3.05 Imperial Calendar

There have been rumors throughout the Eos corridors about our new orders - moving toward Minos Cluster. I'm not sure how much they are truth at this point but I ordered additional supplies for us as if we are going there we might need them considering status of the ship.

I was very impressed seeing how crafty the work over computer circuits have been done all over the ship to minimalize the number of needed crew to deal with shorts on personnel, unfortunate effect of post-Endor time.
