Rank Promotions
I'm very happy to
start this report announcing three elavations in rank within Viper
Squadron. Congratulations to Commander El Guapo, Captain Big Poppa K
and Captain Xander Drax on their well deserved promotions!
Wing
competitions
Currently
we have two Wing wide competitions and every pilot of the Intrepid is
hihlghy encouraged to participate. The first one is called "Beat
the WC", fly XvT-Free 78 and try to beat Malidir. Then there's the Wing
XIV banner, create a new official banenr for the Wing to be disaplyed
on the roster, simple as that. Also, get ready for a possible Ship vs
Ship competition in the near future.

Medals
Imperial Stars for the Week
of War incentive and Ship Shapes competition have been recommended but
the OPS still has to approve them. Just be patient and wait for Admiral
Foley to process them...

Forums
The
message boards have been erased due to a technical glitch during
maintainance operations but thanks to the COMM a new cluster of forums
is online already even if all the old data have been lost, hence
in
roder to use the "new" forums you have to re-register. CMDRs
please refer to this thread and
request a new forum for your squadron
ASAP.

March XvT WoW
Next round
of the XvT Week of War will star Friday the 18th. The Emperor's Hammer
won the previous WoW so let's help our club to maintain the lead even
thsi month! As usual I wil laward a IS-SW and IS-BW to the top two
pilots from the Intrepid.

Revenge of the Sith trailer!

This
week, the Revenge of the Sith trailer was shown on TV, plus for
Hyperspace
members on Starwars.com
I've managed to find a couple decently quality versions.
We have a Quicktime
version at 640x360 for 35MB and slightly higher quality AVI
version (896 x 512) at 52MB. The AVI version requires the Xvid
MPEG-4 codec.

as a 3 part series together in the mission compendium!
Which proves that when you listen to the TAC manual, you actually get
them released together. Any relevent pilot files can be sent to myself.

Khameir Sarin has been appointed my new CA. He will also handle the
duties of COO and SHW for the DB. His primary tasks will be Report
tracking, which means that in the next few weeks, those who don't hand
reports in in a timely fashion will answer for it, and he will run the
TC weekly meetings.
FA Kham will also be the contact for the Flight Office for FreeWorlds
and the new IA when it is released by the SCO.
