We're entering the last week of the competition with Omicron. So far things are looking good. I already have excellent submissions from Zeth and Shayn and I myself am counting on flying it again this week. That's 3 out of 5 needed submissions!
You should all have what you need to know to get a good score in your mail, if you lost it then mail me. We need high scores. I can't go into details about current scoring cause I'm afraid of spies *looks paranoid* but anyways that's also in your mail. ;)
Beer Cup and Psi Vs. Omicron deadlines are the same date! The 30th this month. Be aware of that ;)
Also this week CPT Psyko Prefect rejoins Psi from the reserves! It's great to have you back in the fleet Psyko! You're most welcome. That brings us up to 8 pilots so things are looking very well indeed for us.
LT Shayn D'Loriens excellent work has earned him the title of "WC's Own" for this week. Congratulations Shayn and keep up the good work! :)
As we all know LCM Luca Fett hasn't been able to be very active lately because of real life. Therefore I will open up the position of Flight Leader of flight 2 for applications and Luca will be moved into a FM position (if there are any takers). Now I haven't completely worked out what your duties will be as a FL and they will most likely change, but here's what I will want for starters:
- A weekly update on your own activity
- You'll be given access to update the roster and the news on the Psi website
- I will expect you to try and motivate the FMs under you if you feel that they need it
- Willingness to step in as Acting CMDR should I go on leave (including a weekly report)
- More stuff that I'll think of later :)
A FL position will mean that you will be able to advance in rank faster and higher and will be a bonus if you want a CMDR position later on in your career. Anyways if you're interested, then mail me with your application before December 7th. You can write pretty much what you like in the application... Most important for me is "why" you would like the position and what you want to do with it.

- Version 2.0 of both the TIE, XvT, and BoP shippatch have been released! They feature a new installer and some bug fixes. Be sure to download and install these. Avaliable from the SCO Office (sco.minos.net)
- The TAC is looking for several new testers and engineers for TIE and XW, plus he's also looking for a new TCC for TIE and XWA. Want to know more about these position then read the tactical manual avaliable at the tac office (http://www.emperorshammer.net/tac/newpage/). Medals to be Awarded: IS-BR to the highest scoring pilot
Miscellaneous Information: Top 5 submissions from each squadron is counted towards the final score. The highest total of these 5 submissions win. Ends November 30th at midnight.

3) 2003 Beer Cup
Competition Name/Title: 2003 Beer Cup
Start Date (mm/dd/yy) : 11/1/2003
End Date (mm/dd/yy) : 11/30/2003
Parties Involved : Intrepid, Vanguard and Sovereign
Missions/Battles Used : One each TIE, XWA and XvT battles, to be selected by the three COMs.
Medals to be Awarded : IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW to the top three pilots on each side, in each division. It's the Sov vs. the Intrepid and the Vanguard.
Miscellaneous Information: Sov vs. Vanguard and Intrepid in TIE, XvT and XWA single-player battles. Top 30 pilot files on each side count toward the results in each division. Overall score of these top 30 scores per division determines the winner(s). Note: XvT division is Top 15 files. TIE scoring is laserless. Time of the comp: Nov. 1 through Nov. 30.

Notes for the XWA Battle: You will need to patch XWA in order to fly this properly. Patches needed are the SSSD Patch which can be downloaded from here: http://sco.minos.net/patch/xwa/SSSD-XWA.zip (the Science Office) and the S-Foils Patch which can be downloaded from here: http://www.emperorshammer.net/tac/tac-man/updates.html (You need to have XWA patched to version 2.02 in order for it to work)

5) TCCOM'S Own Banner competition
New Tie Corps Commanders Own Banner design. Contestants have one month (November 25th) to submit their banners. FA Cyric will judge the best banners, and pick the top three for awards.

6) Design the XO Site
From SA Astatine:
The current XO site isn't very good and hasn't been updated for a while. By the nature of the office, the XO site should be a nexus for some very important information within the EH. To address this, I'll need a new design, as the current one (at http://www.emperorshammer.net/xo/) is pretty basic.
The basis of the competition will be to design a "template" for the site, which should include graphics, menu elements, etc. The menu items on the current site can be used as a guide for the template. Everything else is left to your creative whims. Final submissions can either be hosted online, with the URL emailed to me (jpboyce@indigo.net.au), or the files themselves can be emailed to me. Submissions close on 30th November. The competition is open to all EH members. First place gets an Iron Star Gold Ribbon (or subgroup equivilant). Second and third, if up to scratch, will get a Iron Star Silver Ribbon and Iron Star Bronze Ribbon respectively. Submissions should be sent to xo@emperorshammer.org with the subject of "I have l33t w3b skillz".
7) ISD Vanguard Website Creation Comp
A new competition is open to everyone in the TC, the Vanguard needs a new website, design a new one and the best one chosen will recieve a IS-GR, or if quality is of such excellence a higher medal may be awarded:)
