The Blazon: Arms of Caesar (excerpted )

"Said arms consist of a an escutcheon of three sides , a star-field on
sable, a demi-phoenix aflame rising."
"The crest of the rank of General"

Caesar's Arms will be added to Page 4 of the Brotherhood Rolls.

This issue, I've chosen to display what could be considered a 'Limited Achievement of Arms'. Although Protector Caesar could opt for a more opulent display, the one he currently bears is spartan enough to illustrate the aforementioned type.

The Protector has just entered the Emperor's Hammer, and so lacks the usual display of medals one might find. In addition, he belongs to neither Krath nor Sith Orders, so no helmet appears above his shield..

In a true "Limited Achievement", which is the type available to those who hold the ranks below Protector, the shield has no corners, and appears as an oval. The number of sides to a given shield correspond to the rank that the armiger holds within the DB. The Protector's has 3 sides, and by contrast, the Grand Master's escutcheon has 10. This makes it possible for all to determine the rank of an armiger by counting the sides to his or her escutcheon.
